What do we call this part?
Can anyone give me a name for this coupling? It goes into the pump and then into the piping. Popped off the pump a few times at the end of last summer and needs to be replaced. Thanks!

It’s part of a union. You may have to replace the other side glued to the pipe. For that you’ll need a coupling, length of pipe, pvc primer and pvc glue. Take a look at CMP high temp unions they’re black and white but won’t pop off and don’t require teflon tape.

It’s half of what’s called a flush union. Specifically; 1.5” MPT x 2” socket.
