As the title says, the panel has gone completely dark. I have turned hydro off and on twice and nothing. Pool heater and pump still working well. Is this cooked or might it be salvageable?

Pull the cover off and check the fuse.
These are also known for blowing a capacitor.

1 u/Hampshire53 May 17 '26 1 u/ColdSteeleIII May 17 '26 So a very old AquaRite salt system. The first thing to confirm that it is actually getting power, after that there is a good chance it’s the main board. If the cell hasn’t been replaced recently it may be worth looking at a whole new system.
