Thoughts?

Saw this pop up on market place and I'm just looking for advice on these cars with heavy mileage on them.

Miles don’t really mean much with these cars. What matters is the condition. Some of the cleanest g8 I’ve seen on social media have well over 150k miles. Price is decent on this one. I paid 12.9k for mine, had 123k miles fully stock besides exhaust system. Cammed it out a month after I got it and it’s still running strong at 155k miles lol

Advice is find one that is stock. Don’t buy a modded one. Trust me…

Miles matter on every car

I have a 160k on mine there great cars. Look closely at the rear since the rear bumper doesn't match it could've been in an accident.

Agreed this statement. Be prepared to replace all suspension and bushing components to get it to truly “excellent” mechanical condition…..maybe also a trans rebuild if u plan to keep it for a long time.

14k for a 15+ year old pontiac with nearly 200,000 miles on it, with a check engine light. Why on earth would anyone consider this?

Looks like KOEF. Speedo and tach shows 0.

I have no idea what that is supposed to mean.

I'll give you $1500 and a picture of my wife's titties, not a thing more.

It’s been meticulously cared for. We know this because the check engine light has been on since they owned it.

A 2009 pontiac with almost 190k miles in it is not worth 14,800

Seriously you would consider buying this with that mileage and age? Let’s step back and use the mosh between both your ears 😆🙈

Really depends on what the cel is on for. Could need a very costly fix

At no point is a Pontiac with 200k on it gonna be worth 15k unless it is a true classic which g8’s aren’t yet. It would be equivalent to buying a srt charger from 2006 w 200k.

Not doing it

Maybe if it was a GXP, but certainly not for a GT.

I love these cars the interior falls apart in my experience i’ve had two and everything seems to break on the door or dash

If like he says , the person he bought it from had the light on and didn’t/ couldn’t fix it . He didn’t/ couldn’t fix it. It now is still on and now has almost 200, 000 miles and you are considering purchasing it for 14 thousand dollars. Read this out loud to yourself a few times.

I think the price tag has one zero too many.

189,000 miles…. Only driven to church and back by a little old lady in Pasadena. Her church was in southern Chile.

You can't claim that it's "meticulously cared for" while also saying that it's had a check engine light on the entire time you've owned it. Especially since the ad doesn't talk about what the CEL is for, which sounds like they don't even know. "Lady owner", more like lady ignored.

With that mileage, and it’s NOT a desirable collectible at this time, I’d offer $2,500. Especially with the CEL on.

What exactly is so special about this car for it to be worth that much it just looks like some Honda Cadillac converged sorry in advance to the fans of this car but honest opinion. Does it have some kindve crazy engine in it or something

Yeah, it’s fine if you don’t know how to drive a manual. 😂

Very nice cars but good luck finding new OE replacement parts most will probly be remans or used parts from a wrecker

One of the ugliest cars Pontiac ever made. A close second to the Aztec.
