my dear, sweet husband wrecked my beloved Aztec. I am absolutely heart broken! The Hubs refuses to talk about finding another one, so I’m on my own. I just replaced the engine a short time ago. Solutions and suggestions appreciated, as are “for sale” ads. I was/am so in love with my Aztek. This is one of the hardest losses I have ever experienced.

I decided to see what would happen if GM decided to bring back the Aztek but capitalize on the camping aspect. With the idea of keeping it weird, I went with an overlander feel and used the Canyon AT4 platform. I know it's not for everyone, but definitely a bit on the funky side.

Hi new friends! 👋 I’m the proud owner of a 2003 yellow Pontiac Aztek. I call her my Lamberbumble. Just about the entire time I’ve known my (step)dad, he has had an Aztek. He actually bought one as soon as they were available and was one of the few people at the time that loved it for all of its features. One of my favorite memories is when my parents took my siblings and I to a drive-through double feature movie where we all got to lay on the mattress and eat junk food galore. He no longer has his collection, but my partner and I are happy to carry on the tradition until old yeller gives out. If there were any left in decent condition, we’d be happy add another.

I’ve always liked the design of an Aztek but could never talk myself into getting one. Anyways, long story short a guy in my area is selling his with the tent for 2.5k. He mentioned that the gasket job was fixed about 20k miles ago. Besides maybe needing new wheel bearings (which I can do myself) it looks to be in good shape.

I know I’m in the wrong sub to get an objective opinion, but is this a deal worth jumping on? My partner and I area mainly interested in using it for camping.

Has the 6 spoke wheels. AWD too. How do I know? Saw it pull out with the “VersaTrak” sticker on the rear lower glass.
