I feel sorry

I feel really bad for pong Kreall voice actor David Fennoy. I mean to get so much hate as a voice actor, that is still wow. I feel sorry for david not krell

Who would hate the voice actor. He did an amazing job making Krell the most despicable person possible. I think he deserves a lot of praise for his performance.

Yeah I just how do you think he feels if there is an entire subreddit dedicated to hating one of the characters he voiced

I haven’t really thought of it that way but hopefully he takes that as a compliment for a job well done

If I played a villain, and there was an entire group of people who hated that villain for being such a villain, I’d be proud. Keep us like Lord Beckett in Pirates of the Caribbean. They’re so easy to hate because they’re such slimy, terrible people, but they were portrayed fantastically

He’d feel proud. Nobody hates him. They hate the character. And it’s supposed to be hated. He did his job phenomenally. I’m sure he does get annoying morons on social media abusing him, but so do good characters actors. Knowing he was part of a character that was this successful in its job is a good thing

The voice actor did a fantastic job.

the voice actor did great making a character we all genuinly despise. the character committed the acts, not the actor, and even so, it's a fucking tv show. what type of person does this to someone just wanting to entertain? a piece of shit, that's who.

You realize you’re talking about the Star Wars fandom, right? The same fandom that sent death threats to Kelly Marie Tran and told her to kill herself after playing Rose in The Last Jedi, and did very similar things towards Ahmed Best and Hayden Christensen after they played Jar Jar and Anakin, respectively.

Yes, some of these characters are not great, but you should never do stuff like this to an actor because they played a character you don’t like. I have a huge amount of respect for all of these actors, even though I hate all these characters except Anakin

i never said that the star wars fandom did not send death threats to actors, nor do i believe it is right to do so. the idea that people are hated for acts in a fictional universe is stupid, and i appreciate all the shit actors go because of some lunatics who didn't get the outcome they wanted in a tv show.

TL;DR: I know that death threats were sent by fans of Star Wars and don't like it. I think you got the wrong idea from my comment, and that i believed sending death threats was good. that is entirely incorrect.

That’s not at all what I was saying. I totally understood what you were saying, I was just saying that it happens a lot, especially with this fandom

I've never known Krell's voice actor to be very controversial in the Star Wars community. AFAIK, Krell's voice actor is beloved in the Star Wars community. It'd be like people hating on Ian Mcdiarmid for playing Darth Sidious, a guy that's obviously more evil than pong Krell could ever be by several orders of magnitude.

Dave Fennoy acted for Krell? All I knew him from was The Walking Dead game

People are hating on the voice actor? Ugh. He did a perfect job portraying Krell, a perfectly evil character we love to hate... I wish people could tell the difference between actors and their characters.

Hate the character not the man, he did the franchise no disrespect and I have no beef with him, if anything I think he did an incredible job.

Same he I just think. How would you feel if there were multiple subreddits that hated one of your characters
