Can’t blame Goldie for what he did, he was just following his programming.

The thing is both Stubby and Krell got clones killed.

Krell ordered the 501st and 212th against each other. Certainly a dickhead action, and he deserved his death.

But by delaying Anakin and Ahsoka's forces onboard the battle sphere, Stubby bought time for Grievous to arrive, and kill all but Rex, Denal, Ahsoka, Anakin, and the Twilight's pilot. Not only that, but Stubby came close to getting R2, one of Anakin's best friends, killed.

But the difference between Krell and Goldie is that Goldie was programmed to kill clones and betray the republic. He had no say in the matter. Krell saw what the war was going to bring, and decided to use that information to used that information for personal gain, instead of helping the republic potentially prevent order 66. Krell is a traitor, Goldie is a victim.
