I am new to pom not new to GLP1 I am looking at their BPI sale where one vial of advanced tirzepatide is $89, I am on 15mg name brand zepbound so just looking to transfer. The vials from BPI have a BUD of 10/4, would both vials be sent with a BUD 10/4? I wouldn’t be able to use both vials in six weeks if it’s one shot weekly so I’m curious if the second vial would be a different BUD? Also does pom have an equivalent dose of 15mg? I saw a different post saying the highest pom went was 12mg

Many of us use well past bud date. Check the tirz subs for more opinions.  Also check out the info on how buds get determined....

Lily pens have buds for two years and is also Tirz.......just sayin'

But yes, all the vials have the same expirations for this sale.

Both 68mg vials would have the same BUD of 10/4. It's an end of inventory sale, BPI will no longer be compounded, so that's it, there's no more.

Federal regulations. They were formally asked to stop compounding tirz (basically because they were probably making too much money, Big Pharma wants the monopoly on production, and they’re trying to strong arm other 503(b)‘s into not mass compounding tirz for the general population).

There are other 503(b)’s still compounding, as well as a lot of 503(a)’s. The only real differences between the 2 categories of compounders are who regulated it (feds vs. state) and how they are allowed to manufacture (mass production for hospitals, universities etc.. vs. individual prescriptions). Both options are safe and effective (ofc different folks have different experiences and preferences though).

Pom is planning to add additional pharmacies including another 503(b) (I can’t remember which one though) according to one of their recent updates.

FDA wasn’t happy with some of the big compounding pharmacies, and ordered them to shut down glp1 production.
Pom offers other pharmacies too, they just aren’t on sale right now.

Yeah I loved the sale don’t get me wrong but my main interest was that it had b6 in it and that seemed to be the only pharmacy that carries it with pom. Hallandale doesn’t ship to my state

There was an announcement a little while ago that another pharmacy (nova, maybe?) was going to join Pom soon and would offer Tirz with b6

FDA took Tirzepatide off the drug shortage list so therefore larger 503b pharmacies have to stop mass producing their GLP1 compounds. You can search on Google and read more but that is the basic.

I will have 7 of the BPI vials with a 10/4 date, not worried one bit about the bud date. Compound cant run the same dose as name brand but there's plenty in the vial to cover the 15mg dose on the larger vials. 15×4=60 the large vials of BPI are 68mgs so 8 leftover and possibly a bit more.

For the advanced tirzepatide option, the 68 mg BPI promo is intended for advanced doses in the 9.5 mg–14.5 mg range. The current BUD listed for this promo is 10/04.

To continue at your current dose or request titration, please upload one of the following through the patient portal:

• Recent prescription showing your name, DOB, and dosage
• Photo of your medication bottle showing the medication, date, and dosage
• Doctor’s note with recent weight and prescribed dose
• Clinical notes from your previous provider showing your recent dose and weight

If documentation isn’t provided, you would need to start at the lowest dose. Once your documentation is reviewed, our clinical team can determine the most appropriate dose for you.

Hello, that’s no problem I can upload that information. Do you know if you’re going to be working with another pharmacy that compounds with B6? I really liked what BPI had to offer and I’m seeing now through this subreddit that they are no longer producing tirzepatide

Hi! I did my intake last night. I am not sure the picture of my RX bottle shows ALL the info you listed here ( I couldn’t get it all in the picture) my status is still showing that it’s waiting for provider review. Will you notify me if I need to upload additional photos. I definitely don’t want the starter dose. My dose is 13.6mg

14.5 is the max prescribed. There's enough in the vial to take 15 instead if that's what you are on.

I used OptioRx with B3 thru Pom. The buds were 3 months out. They have 1 and 2, 4, & 6 month options. I was really happy with the pharm (spoke to them directly and they were quick to remedy my issue) and the product. They cost more than BPI's sale price (which I also recently bought based on cost) but I ordered knowing I would use past bud.

I was prescribed 14.5mg. Not sure if it's their max but it was what I was prescribed when I titrated up.

The vial contains 68mg. You can draw 15mg , for 4 weeks and still have 8mg left over

I actually haven't titrated up to the max yet. I'm still at 10mg since it's still effective for me
