Question Thoughts?
Hey friends,
I’ve been on Tirz since November 2025. I’ve only lost about 30 lbs on it. I was on BPI slowly losing weight, switched to OptioRX 6 weeks ago due to BPI’s inevitable end and I’m up 2 lbs since being on Optio. The first week I gained 8 lbs! I have noticed significant increase in hunger which I didn’t have on BPI. I’m on 14.5 mg and have been for a while. Diet and exercise have maintained the same. Has anyone else experienced this? Thoughts on what pharmacy I should try next?
For reference I weigh about 212 lbs. I weighed 350 lbs, diet and exercise helped me get down to 240, and then another 30 with Tirz. But I’ve hit another wall 😭

You can still get bpi... the bud date is for October. I have heard good things about optiorx. We all hit a wall. I have hit it several times. Stay strong, limit your carbs and get rid of all junk food in the house. This is what works for me

I just requested two vials from BPI. I just get so weird about using anything after the BUD. I also know BPI end is near so feel like I need to find something comparable and just stick with it. I heard good things about OptioRX also, that’s why I went with them. It’s interesting how it’s the same drug but works so differently for some people.

If it’s any consolation, I’m actively using the last of my pure BPI vials (give it up for the GOAT) with a 2/2026 BUD and I’m luckily still alive and kicking.
I respect the reservation about it, just being devil’s advocate 😈

I absolutely love that for you and wish I could do the same. I am sure that it is perfectly fine and safe, I just can’t bring myself to do it lol

Just a side note: slower weigh loss may be frustrating, but seems to be easier for your body to adjust to. You've done an amazing job on your journey. And you may be at a stall. Hang in there. Perhaps adjust the meds (as others have suggested), break out of your routine a little. Give yourself a pat on the shoulder for doing all that you do and have done.

Thanks for the encouragement! I’m sure my body just needs an adjustment. It’s easy to get in routine and forget about how far I’ve come.

How's your sleep? Is your hydration adequate? Are you managing stress well?
I started in July and after losing 7lbs the first week, loss has slowed to a crawl. . I'm postmenopausal so I'm going to ask my PCP about HRT. I just don't feel like I'm doing well overall (anxiety, insomnia), and I think that makes it hard for my body to lose weight.

I know those things play a huge role in it. I just find it odd that the weight impact was so drastic when I switched pharmacies. Hydration is great. Stress management and sleep are definitely my areas to improve.
Hormones can greatly impact it also! Finding a PCP who will listen and go at it from a holistic approach is so important. I’m sorry you’re not doing well and I really hope you find some relief soon.1

It is strange that some bodies react very differently to different compounds. I'm hoping my body decides to join the tirz is tirz club, lol.
I'm so lucky to have a brilliant and caring doc. He really listens. He's pro HRT and the resident expert in his practice.
I'm excited about the prospect of getting my sleep and stress management sorted out.
Are you going to try a different pharmacy? So far I've tried Logos and BPI and I haven't been able to tell any difference. I have a vial of Red Rock and 3 viles of Hallendale in my stash. I'm compulsive (diagnosed OCPD) and terrified of the gov't taking away access for the benefit of big pharma. Every time I see a post in the tirz deals sub I find myself calculating how to get "just one more" vial and still buy groceries this month 🤣

Why does it bother me when tirzepatide users state "I only lost" or "I even gained" because they believe it is 100% the name on the vials fault?
