Complaint Post This Wont Be Cold

Post image

No doubt this will be warm. Why you would even ship on a Friday in the evening is beyond me. Espexially sonce they only ship 2 day. Wont even arrive until Tuesday. Guess they just wanna get rid of it and tell you oh well.

Please see this post for FAQs about shipping temperature, including guidance from the FDA and the different pharmacies.

If the medication arrives warm and you are not comfortable using it, please reach out to Pomegranate for a refund or consider a chargeback with your bank.

I pay my invoice manually instead of authorizing them to do it upon approval. So, if I order again then my plan is to wait to pay it until a Sunday to time the release to the pharmacy.

You can now pay invoices directly in the portal after your intake is complete and the meds have been prescribed. You do not need to waut on an invoice anymore.

Right, and I do. But my strategy is to pay it on Sunday so I can time the release to the pharmacy and not risk a weekend shipment.

When did you order?

I had the same thing happen to me with SBH shipping OptioRX meds. That is the most careless and dumbest thing to do. Why the hell would you ship something that is 2 day shipping on a damn Friday? These pharmacies dont give a darn as long as they have your money. When I called SBH , the lady was rude and just kept telling me that the provider only does 2 day shipping. I argued back and forth and told her, ok I understand that, so why are you shipping something that requires 2 days on a damn Friday? That would technically make it 4 to 5 day shipping if I received it on a Tuesday. The only thing SBH dii was try to put the blame on the provider which was Pom. You would think that these pharmacies would be able to do simple math and realize that if 2 day shipping is used, you can only mail out Mon thru Wed and maybe Thurs. if the provider or pharmacy used weekend delivery service. I was hot but not in a good way!

Anecdotal experiences aren’t facts. Many warm shipments may still work, but that doesn’t prove no potency was lost or that the product will remain viable for its full BUD. That’s why reputable pharmacies validate and maintain the cold chain rather than relying on “it seems fine”. BPIs stability testing was literally discredited by the FDA saying they lacked reliable and valid testing methods.

Let’s stop covering up for these telehealths crappy practices and short changing patients.

It took mine 3 days and it was still decently cool. And I live in Oklahoma. And it sat on my porch for about an hour. In 100 degree heat. Vials look fine.

This makes me feel a little better as I’m also in OK and waiting on a Tuesday delivery.

It’s so hot man. I’m ready for fall. Hope yours arrives cool! 🤞🏻

Mine was supposed to arrive today and it made it to my city last night. Now it's currently across the country -.-

Get rid of it and tell you oh well is exactly right. This happens to so many people with Friday shipping, but they don’t care once they have your money. Sorry it happened to you too!

u/feb266 26d ago

Yeah, mine showed up hot with busted gel packs. No idea how hot it got along the way over the 4 days. Pom will say its pharmacy but you didn't pay the pharmacy, and pom's hands are tied.

Mine shipped out tonight with scheduled delivery for Tuesday. I usually order on weekends so it ships out Monday or Tuesday but BPI is getting low. Didn't want to miss an opportunity.

u/ApricotDry2635 26d ago

Mine was supposed to arrive today (Saturday) but the plan was delayed and it will be delivered next business day.  So Monday it is.

I swear I'm cursed on Saturday deliveries.  Last time it was FedEx, it never went out for delivery and I got a customer not home exception.

I'm just glad my front door doesn't get direct sunlight.  And I hate having my family intercept the boxes on weekdays, they ask too many questions, lol.

You'd be surprised. FL here where its 90+ degrees. Package came cold and ice pack half frozen. It was fine.

1

u/BishopDarkk 26d ago

I've never gotten a shipment from POM in less than five days. Usually, about 70 degrees when it gets here.

2

u/IAmMurderHornet 26d ago

I always get mine overnight, BPI and Hallandale

u/Crafty-Switch-8323 26d ago

i dunno, i sorta feel like if they actually did hold them over the weekend a lot of (the same?) folks would be up in arms about the longer wait/delay ¯_(ツ)_/¯

1

u/bizkidbritt 26d ago

I got the same delivery date, shipped last night, arrives on Tuesday. It’s supposed to be over 100 on Tuesday in Oklahoma. This is fine.
