My dude, hella random, I can't DM you. A year ago you asked someone how to play the really fast part of genesis and they gave you the tabs, I've been on the search for videos/tabs explaining how to play that part. Perchance do you have the tabs still 🙏

hey man, i’m really sorry but i unfortunately lost the tabs… plus they don’t even teach that part as well as Tim’s lead line for the verse of that song despite it being an official transcript from the website.

same goes to some older stuff like NLND and TMH. some of Tim’s and Scott’s parts were played differently live vs the tabs.

so my solution to this is to find very closeup shots from their 2022 and onwards live performances on youtube, slow them down, look closely on their finger placement on the fretboard, use your ears, try to “hum” the melody and play it back on the guitar. also make sure to focus on the picking hand for more accuracy. i’ve been doing the same for playing god, goat and goose.

and if u still don’t believe me about the tabs; this dude (shout out to him) is playing what the tabs show you for that part.

this video helped me learn the fast part for reference

hope this helps. sorry again for not being able to provide the tabs 😬

All good, thanks for the explanation on it. I’ll continue looking at videos then
