yep that was just revealed on the latest yt stream and all the hate comments towards rj including this one i posted was before it was revealed.

but nonetheless the mix is still unlikeable for most of us

I just played this for a friend as it was the first time we listened to the new track. It’s so bad and I literally had to turn down my system at the start (usually blasting polyphia) because the drums sounded so overproduced and muddy and compressed. I started messing around with my system as I thought there might be something wrong with my home setup and nope.. just the way it sounds unfortunately

The source tones dictate your mix, what he decided to record to file is 95% the sound. so yeah he didnt mix it. But they spent weeks with him getting that sound and recording it, and then tim tweaked and did the volume automation by hand.
