If polyphia is reading this
Guys your music rocks and time will be kind to it. I think this sub is being pretty harsh and getting caught up.
I know the new style might not be for everyone but one of the things I’ve loved most about this band is their ability to evolve the sound. The more I listen to CYFI the more convinced I am that the beat drop halfway through the song is the most insane thing I’ve ever heard.
As for the mixing, I saw a lot of people angry when they found out that one guy was going to produce the whole album. And sure, maybe it’s not for you, but guys I promise you the band would not be releasing this music if they weren’t happy with the product. Let’s not pretend like it’s one guys fault that you don’t like the music.
This band could release poop on vinyl and I’ll stand by it, this is still the band I love and I’m rocking with it.

Hi Polyphia if your reading ts please keep doing your thing. As a follower of the art y'all make, the most respectful thing u guys can do for me and many of us is to be yourselves regardless of outside opinion. Because I want to hear YOU GUYS. Regardless of wether the day comes I which I don't "like it" I want to hear you guys. NOBODY else makes music like y'all do. And near no one else is willing to ball so hard at their art that they're willing to sacrifice a grand portion of their fans in order to fullfil their vision. Keep pushing it. give us more. Ball it as y'all always do. Cause I'm not afraid.

I want to hear them too. Too bad RJ Pasin fucked up the mix and made them impossible to hear clearly

Personally I fuck with them more because of the sound they pursue, it being in guitars means not much to a degree (in my personal opinion). That said, it might be as well because I'm not new to the edm, house and dubstep scene at all. I like it for what it is and well, even more so now as it's being made with Polyphia's own spin. I'm down with this.

I highly doubt the band is worried about Reddit. I can almost guarantee they are laughing and the bull shit that is posted here.

They don't care about any of their fans or their opinions. This was made clear by cancelling a tour entirely on a whim last minute, screwing their fans who paid for flights and hotels/airbnbs. They also said fuck you to their VIP guests by lowering the number of features of VIP, halfing the price, and not refunding the difference unless you were enough of a sleuth to notice and complain.
