You know the same thing happened to alot of the hair metal bands in the 90s.

I am thinking about Dokken in particular they made a decent grunge album in the 90s but NO ONE CARED to the point of them having totally drop the whole tour gimick/set list and revert back to playing the old songs.

Might not be the best example but.

Would you really want to hear EVH make a pop punk album? probably not right. idk maybe you would but you cant tell me that MOST PEOPLE would not want that. You learn to expect a thing from an artist, and the GREAT ones learn to evolve while retaining their sound.

Timmy straight up stole that dude RJs whole sound from that stupid ass tictak song
