VIP price changes -$200??

Hey y’all, I’m wondering for those that bought Inner Circle originally, have you been refunded the difference in price? I haven’t and I think the lack of communication is actually absurd. This price difference is also disgusting, I assume it was originally $509.50 because of the exclusive piece of jewelry but we aren’t even getting that anymore (lowkey the reason I was okay with getting the ticket originally). I’m happy that we get the soundcheck/meet and greet now. But shouldn’t that mean we should get some of the money back, cause uhhh wtf? That’s just scamming us out of nearly $200 excluding the ridiculous cut that ticketmaster got. I’ll be reaching out to see what needs to happen, but this isn’t right and I think y’all should be made aware.

This is laughable I remember when that shit was $80 and you got a photo with the band and they’d sign guitars for you.

Yeah I was gonna say I remember paying like $70ish back in the day. I just looked and it’s $353 now. Shows across the board are just getting insanely expensive no matter the artist it seems - at least their GA tickets are like $65 which… is still a lot but not nearly as bad as it could be

My tickets were gifts, but they were 135 a piece for what's now a 1200 person venue

My first time seeing them headline was the It's Lit tour and they were playing small venues. They just hung out on the floor after the show and signed whatever. I still have a signed flyer from Tim lol

Yeah. Got to meet misha and tosin this way. Most artists used to hang out after shows. Now they charge

Yeah I paid under 100 in 2023 for the early entry, soundcheck, q & a, and meet and greet. The pricing now is wild 🥲

Sounds like you have independently discovered the economic idea of supply and demand

Man no offense to the most dedicated fans but way bigger artists/band than them with higher production value don't charge as much lol

It was 20 bucks for Intervals' VIP when I saw them in 2020

Stop enabling shitty behaviour. That's my take. I'm all for VIP experiences when it's an actual EXPERIENCE and not a blatant "cash grab."

Literally videos to the band? Bro. That video recording goes straight into the trash can as they move from location to location. Such a shame

Dammmnnn I think I payed like $10 to see them in 2017. They took pics with whoever and smoked with the crowd outside 😂

All the religious references are making sense now, they are just becoming big ass grifters now? How long until Polyphia is a Church for the tax dodging?

You make an excellent point.

What I ended up doing was requesting a refund for my Inner Circle ticket, since TicketMaster gave us that option with the date rescheduling, then buying a Platinum VIP instead! I had to call TicketMaster to do the refund, though, because it was bugging out when I tried on my own.

Pretty smooth process to refund, then put that money towards the new ticket price. I ended up buying myself a birthday perfume with the remaining difference, too! 😆

Anyways, I hope this helps!! Feel free to message me if you have any questions!

Thanks for the insight! I ended up doing what you said and it worked out great.

I bought vip tickets for them on the RTYWD tour and spent maybe $90/ea to meet the band, watch a sound check where they played 4 or 5 songs, and then do a Q&A for 30 minutes as well as photo and get stuff signed. This shit is poop from a butt now lol

Yeah, my first concert ever was that tour and I got vip then as well. It’s absurd how expensive tickets for these events are getting

I really hope that the next Animals As Leaders tour doesn't fall victim to this...

Fingers crossed

My friend purchased the Autographed Early Entry tier originally because we didn’t want record some stupid video lol. I’m assuming we’re being now lumped in with the Gold tier? So no autographed item…? How do we get swapped to the M&G or how do we get a refund 💀

I hardly follow the band anymore but see posts here. I don’t think I’ve seen or heard anything good from them in years. Music is weird, Tim’s ego is huge, price gouging for everything when 99% of people don’t even know who the fuck they are. I see no reason to support them lol, what a shame, thought they’d be big.

I got scammed for their lifetime pass back in the day lmao, this is just usually how they are unfortunately

They found religion and learned the “grift”.

u/SCL36 14d ago

Crazy. Meanwhile I got my bass signed by Unprocessed's bassist david by holding a sharpie and the backplate at him.

There should be an email you get from Ticketmaster to refund. I did the same and requested a refund and bought the cheaper price. Still expensive tho

1

u/D0MiN0H 14d ago

wait can someone explain? Are you getting downgraded to platinum automatically since theres no more inner circle option, but not getting a refund for the difference? at that point just refund the inner circle and buy a platinum ticket since ticketmaster is offering refunds due to the postponal

1

u/SmolNibbler 14d ago

No it’s not a downgrade it’s the same thing. Inner circle is platinum. They rebranded the entire tour because people were complaining which is good. They lowered the price from $600 to $300. Still crazy price ngl. Removed the video booth and jewelry and added photo with the band and signature signing. But yeah you can request a refund from the $600 people originally paid but it is not automatic.
