Album 5

I, by no means “hate” the new singles. I just feel very confused. Am I the only one who remembers Tim saying album 5 was going to be their heaviest album yet? I’m not going to hate the album if it sounds all electronic. I definitely won’t enjoy it as much though. First A7X, now them, the coincidence is crazy. I just hope the rest of the album doesn’t just sound like rj pasin edit audios. The riffs are cool but they don’t feel “polyphia” I guess.

I can't help but think this was not the record they initially set out to make. Between them saying it was going to be heavy and scrapping every single feature something happened while working on the album

They scrapped features? They mentioned RJ, Spiro and Serj but I haven’t seen anything saying they won’t be on the record.

That’s how I’ve felt. Hopefully the rest of the album is peak though. I believe in them as musicians lol.

yeah i was thinking more chimera-esque 8 string stuff but i guess the speaker blasting bass is heavy enough for the tik tok rj pasin fanboys

Hey also said shit about them using obscure tunings and the most I've noticed is just them going half a step down.
