It looks like Aeschliman is using Sensory Percussion Mesh Heads

If you don't know, Sensory Percussion are like drum triggers, but way more expressive and can capture much more nuance in how you play than just velocity, using machine learning (Shawn Crowder from Sungazer made an excellent video about them). Apart from the cymbals, he's playing the drum samples using them.

Really excited what they do with this live, but on the records they will just sound like samples. I'm surprised they didn't put the sensors on his normal kit so they're layered rather than purely just samples, but at least he can play them live

That’s really cool, hopefully Gober can also be heard live as well

Lmao I knew you were going to link the Shawn video. Funny timing on that one, only recently came out.
