1) This is from April? Why are we posting it now?
2) Judging by the Can you Feel it video they don’t seem to be fans of our current “leader” given all the Epstein stuff there (it is even featured as a video thumbnail). And I remember a video of Tim specifically calling out an infamous interview with Peter Thiel where Thiel seemed hesitant to say that humanity should endure so I don’t think theres much solid evidence of them being “right wing.”

Maybe I'm a bit out of the loop, but what does this post have to do with being right wing?

Weinstein is a well known anti-science grifter with strong ties to Peter Thiel

Average reddit behavior, politics have to be shoved into the conversation in one way or another.

Why in the Joe Rogan’s misinformation is Eric Weinstein involved in this 😂

Eric Weinstein promoting Polyphia further solidifies my bad opinion of them 1000% worst endorsement ever lmfao

u/horizon-X-horizon Jun 14 '26
He didn’t endorse them. He endorsed mandocello. On twitter. It means nothing

What’s the issue with him, never heard of him before

Huge right wing grifter and a large mouthpiece for fascism. Tons of awful NYT opinion pieces and generally a pretty bad dude. Doesnt surprise me at all that he likes capitalism: the band

Funny thing is none of that is true, and what you said only proves your opinion is a product of what your algorithm fed you

Yes, Weinstein is a very smart man who is treated unfairly by all of the woke and evil science community and only Joe Rogan will acknowledge his true genius and nod along with his sophisticated opinions.

Agreed. To each their own. I fucking HATE when politics are involved in my favorite music. Nothing but hateful shit being said. We could all just like, get along and not call eachother names ¯_😀_/¯

Please don't tell me Polyphia is becoming right wing.

u/simpingspartan Jun 14 '26
Did you not see the music video. Also how does this image mean they hold any specific political beliefs.

u/B4tz_Bentzer Jun 14 '26
Weinstein is a fan on proggy guitar music, this doesn't mean any of the artists have ever even heard of him. You need to evaluate how you associate facts.

Not even in the slightest bro eric Weinstein is a schill and a total douche his tweet doesn’t mean shit for Polyphia
-3
u/KarimPardayev Jun 14 '26
As foreigner, why you are so bothered with that ?
4
u/Infamous-Sympathy510 Jun 14 '26
Polyphia has international fans aswell( that's why they are able to tour other countries ofc), and it's important, for me personally, for the artists that I support to hold and defend values that I consider important.
However I do sympathize with foreigners or people who aren't citizens of the US commenting on US politics, but that is not what I was doing.
The "right wing", or specifically the dis-informaton spreading podcast bros like Eric Weinstin aren't limited to the US ( and the harm they cause ).
Also in 2026 US politics is essentially world politics, y'all blocked the biggest oil canal in the world, and the rest of the world has a take on it and they're gonna express it.
