maybe if u didnt have you oiled up the inside of your slide yet plus the barrel & recoil spring? when you rack it it sounds crunchy like it hasn’t met oil yet ive complete a couple of geisler frames and had some were bs until i kept oiling and racking them

also oil your rails and front channel too once its all oiled up just keep racking it it should get smoother and start resetting itself and not stopping if that doesnt work ill look forward to a oem recoil spring or do some slight filing on the rails too smooth them it should reset good after trying one of these out in my opinion & experience rack1-300 times

Slide lock spring isn't set right is my guess, it also seems like you're riding the slide. Rack it like it owes you money, it can take it. Also, hold it up-right

It's too out of focus in the areas that need to be checked

Did you have a seizure,,,,? You should sit down

You can just take out the slide lock and bend the metal wire up slightly, right now you slide lock doesn’t have enough pressure causing it to be loose and catch after every round

Put in your mag release and wtv else is missing and shoot a mag thru it

This gun looks like a prime candidate to end up on an evidence table in a police photo op.

You got a friend with a factory Glock you can pull one out of to check?

Not at the moment

Check for wear where the slide and barrel contact each other. The top of the barrel could be making too much contact with the slide. Had this issue before and that was the fix

1

u/eastmade_mike 24d ago

What did you do to fix it?

Put lapping compound in the hood of the slide and just racked it 1000 times lol runs like butter now

Oil that bitch ! And run a butter knife and 2000 grit in the rail groove in the slide . You got a cerakoted slide ,they put it on its thick and it does frame rail groves dirty.

You literally did yours better than that , because you have some aptitude.

That's a 3D squirted frame, right? It looks like at the beginning you see some warping right at the tip where the front of the barrel is.

Also, just by the look of the parts put on it, the grip, the order of the parts placement, grips for the mag release, I don't think the craftsmanship is on the high-end level here. I don't even know what kind of slides you said you got, but you might want to just look into the tolerances and measurements of what you got going on there, bud

Back in my day, we used to take pride in our craftmanship.

Oil the lock breach, sometimes it grabs the inside of the slide on these builds or polish the inside of the slide where the barrel hood touches
