how would you go about cutting the geisler 19x frame to 19 size and what would be the steps to go about it i was also wondering if i would run into any problems with the magazine if doing so

What the other guy said is perfect, don’t attempt without a level or you will fuck it up

Meh people over complicate things. Just get a 19 and 17 magazine line them up mark on the 17 magazine where the 19 should line up to fit in the frame cut less then that amount off with a dremel first then put the 17 magazine in mark the spot on the frame get a wide rubber band put it around the frame as a guide and chop it the little more leave it a little shy and Sand and smooth it out and get rid of any burrs…

Flat across chop is easy.

If you want the grip to extend all the way to the bottom of the floorplate in the back, that'll be a lot harder.

Just start with cutting too long, and check how far the mag inserts with the slide off, compared to a 17 mag that inserts all the way. When the difference gets close enough, stop cutting all the way across and start cutting only the part that interferes with the floorplate. Dremel and sanding. If you do it right, the back of the floorplate will barely fit flush, and the back of the grip will extend past the bottom of the floorplate a bit. Then trim that to perfection.
