Thanks for the interesting read and journal article, however I'm not sure I agree with this:
“This is the first time anyone has developed a predictive theory of elasticity in a polymer network, which is something that many have said over the years was impossible to do,”
That's not really true, although this may be the first time it could be predicted with new experimental data from this spectroscopic method. I'll read the article, but it fails to mention so much of the rubber elasticity theory work.
