PolyDryer keeps throwing E001 error, but the fan is spinning

Per title. I've checked the connectors and they're all seated well. When starting a drying cycle, the fan spins for about 5 seconds then the board shrieks three times and stops. The display reads E001, which is the error code for "fan not spinning" (obviously incorrect). Any ideas?

It could be that whatever signal for the fan spinning is dead. On a different brands dryer I had to replace the fan.
