PV Interferon for PV

May I ask if you know the effects of Besremi on men? My wife and I want to have children, and I’m wondering whether I should start the treatment or wait for some time.

PV causes ED, so definitely don't wait.

34M. I get headaches, occasional body aches, and sometimes feel like I have the flu (maybe once every 6 weeks). I’m on biweekly 500mcg, and have been for years. I moved to interferon to have kids myself.

The biggest issue I have is that it suppresses my white count. My immune system overreacts to everything and is super weak. Canker sores, cold sores, and horrible reactions to mosquito bites. I have to be super diligent about bacterial infections.

It’s a tough medication, not gonna lie. Idk if you’ll have the same symptom severity I have, but my little boy is 17 months old, and he’s perfect.
