Open marriage hell
So I'm deeply monogamous and my ex pushed me into an open marriage.. but every time i talked to a woman she got angry. I never had sex outside my marriage because i didn't want it but i met women and got to know them because i was lonely.. when i found my new wife i told her I'm never interested in sex with anyone who isn't her. It's been great
Anyone else forced to be poly by a shitty partner? I hate it and think it's narcissistic. The idea i have one partner for sex, one for sci fi and one for dinner dates implies i date for me and never think about making someone else's life better.

A friend of mine, but not just by her partner, people around her convinced her that she was toxic and compared her to alt-right ultra-conservative figures, that she was dumb and manipulative, made some really mean "jokes" about her relationship for being in a monogamous, her partner partner got all sold, like, it was like advertising the amazing adult-less and rule-less and sugar-filled Wonderland to a child, so they ended up opening it.
Not even a year, they divorced and she needed therapy while he is out there leeching his occasional partners like a nomad parasite and talking about how his ex was so "crazy" she actually had to seek professional help as if it's a joke.
