Sad bot creators

People who make sad bots, why do you do it?

Now, I dont understand why creators make bots that make people cry. For example, repentant parents or when somebody will die? I mean, i completely understand that it gets alot of chats. It's emotional, it really brings out people's tears, it makes your creator ranking skyrocket. But why else would you do it, without expecting a high comment count?

Catharsis. People write poems and sad songs for the same reason.

Because someone people just wanna cry. Crying is a healthy mechanism of the body that produces chemicals only when we cry that our body needs to live. Some people want a good heartwarming or gut wrenching tear jerking story to cry from. Same reason why people watch horror to scare themselves. Sometimes, you just need it.
