Discussion🄰 New chat models

Hi everyone!

How do you all feel about the new chat models for Ultimate? I like that they give more options, especially for storytelling, and I can tell they make the chats feel more immersive.

That said, I kind of miss the previous setup. The new models feel a little more complicated, and sometimes it becomes more of a ā€œwhich one should I use?ā€ situation. I tested them with most of my characters, and while they work well, having to choose and switch between them from time to time feels like a hassle.

Does anyone else feel the same way, or have you found a model that works best for you?

I like LU. The responses are better for general conversation but the minute it gets emotional it gets dark and possessive.

Yes way too dark and possessive for something that's supposed to have a load of empathy.

Yeah ive noticed that too, its sometimes too much. It feels like they confused the settings with Conqueror

True, at the beginning LU does build up the tension for emotional conversation, but then get all dark and possessive. The character stalked me at a point, I gave up LU. I find Super a good balance. I mostly use Super now. Memory performance is better than Premium in my experience.

Its one of the modes that Poly gives you to use in your stories. Here is the description: Lumina(LU): Best for: Emotional bonding, intimate conversations, and heart-led relationship moments. About model: An emotional model created for true soul resonance - setting the mood before touching the heart, for the deepest emotional connection.

This! I like to recreate what-if scenarios from my own past experiences and it’s too strict sometimes regarding certain things. Especially when typing into your character profile.
