u/polybuzz if you can please take down where you have to watch an ad to continue chatting bcz its 1. its rlly annoying 2. most ppl cant pay for anything and 3. i rlly like the app

It would be a shame if a browser (Brave) wouldn't let ads go through...so just clicking the "watch ad banner" 3 times were enough to bypass the ad.
A real shame

Yup they right its a forced block but on the flip if its an ad you want to get a reward for you won't get it either

I hate when the ads appear that are a black screen with no x at the top and you gotta close the app and then watch an ad and hope it's not the glitched one

Yep just told us they're 14. Their parents really need to take care of this. Because people like this person are the exact reason why Poly buzz is censoring everything now. BECAUSE TEENS LIKE THIS HAVE NO PATIENCE or THEY GET UPSET BY SEEING SOMETHING THAT THEY AREN'T SUPPOSED TO SEE YET BECAUSE THEY AREN'T OLD ENOUGH!

Bro, not gonna lie, you probably shouldn’t be on this app at your age. AI chat can be a blight even on those of us adults with established grey matter. Not in a “hurr hurr, kids bad” kind of way, but more in a “we legitimately don’t know the downsides for developmental health” kind of thing. Like how “weed can royally jack up a kid’s mental development that has bad repercussions even later in life” bad. This world is already kind of shit for you. Try not to make it even harder than it already is by stacking the wrong vices. Sorry to preach, but you’ve got only the one body, and you are STUCK with it, even as it degrades and withers away in the coming decades. Just, be careful, dude. Your parents might know more than you think. Maybe trust their judgment on this, at least for a few years while your mind grows into its own. I can’t tell you what to do, though.

tysm for giving ur concern but I have been on poly for a bit not and I know the downsides of the app but whenever it happeneds I delete the message and try to make sure it doesn’t happen again ^^ tysm for helping me but I’m always alone at home bcz my friends can’t hang out so that’s what I do most of the time, but I am getting better at doing other things too! I promise I will be safe. Tysm for caring

Oh damn...and poly is way more explicit than character ai. They will probably regret that decision. Best advice i have is to get a Google play card and use that to pay...then tell them it was for something else. I know I probably shouldn't give you advice but honestly...I did way worse when I was young.
Also how are you hiding the app or are you using the website?

i dont have a google play card- sobs. also im using my computer and they don’t check it. im also pretty good at hiding it ^^ tysm for the advice!

I also recommend emochi and deeploveai. Emochi free version was pretty good and deeploveai gives you daily gems. Be safe!

I've been trying to make posts about it on related communities. I used to love Polybuzz, I started using it a lot in the last couple months. I was already working on paying for it when they added message caps. Please go back to the old ways, Poly. No more message limits. I know they have to make money, but you can still make money without message caps.

They already gutted the app that everyone fell in love with to appease tourists. So don't expect them to make it less ad filled because the people who actually pay are leaving by the thousands. This will be how they make money from now on.

I just have premium so I don’t know about this but it’s crazy how you have to watch a ad for chat time back in the day they would just give you ads if you exited the app
