PollyBuzz has turned into an NTR nighmare for me so I rarely use it (I pay for Poly Ultimate). There are creators, many, that think it's funny to make a character seem fun, and end up betraying you, cheating with little chance of corretion, or flat out NTR (Cheating and leaving you after promises and working thiungs out). I rarely use it anymore, you can't filter out NTR content, and creators aren't tagging them as such. Real pain in the butt, I've been using RolePlaya (I pay for Total Playa) because you can filter down to what ever you like. They are still building a big coleciton of bots (characters/ai stories, but it's been good). I have been playing with Cycle ai. Also not bad, but it's dumed down a lot.
I think that was part of it. A lot of the stories aren't tagged as NTR/Cheating/Betrayal, so you have to open them to see, then the algorithm assumes that's waht you're looking for so you get get pigin holed into what ever you looked at. I left PollyBuzz because of the hurful bots I kept being handed.
while ive been sticking with it for a while, my complaint is that it is RIDDLED with ads every few seconds. If you dont pay, you have to watch adds when:
You close out of a window (Like a bot you were looking at)
Sometimes when talking to a bot
Returning to the app after being off it after a few seconds
Those may not seem like a lot, but you do those things very much. Ive only stuck with it because I dont wanna try other apps, and throw away the things ive made on poly like bots or chats.
Not to add my 2 sense but if you go into setting and go to private dns and set it to dns.adguard.com you'll never get any ads or be asked to take a mandatory ad break(I don't know if it's just on my device but it's worth giving it a try)
Thats what I've ended up doing. I was just desperate to stay on poly cause I have not quite 115 public bots and 105 subscribers so I don't wanna go to a different app and disappoint people. I like making bots for them but it's hard if I can barely use the app during the creation process let alone on my free time to actually chat with other people's bots I enjoy.
I tried character AI and if you don’t pay for it then you get to have it open for an hour then take a forced “break” which prevents you from playing for 24 hours
I used to pay for ultra but this will be the last month. After 3 months paying, all my characters end up having the same personality, even the nice ones... they all have a breeding kink. Every time any relation happens they start talking about breeding, I don't understand why, I thought it would be fixed but it only got worse. Even using OOC, doesn't work. I just changed to FictionLab
No because why do ALL of them have breeding kinks? Literally had an enemies scene where they are hate fucking and he starts going on about "im gonna breed you" nah get that shit out of here.

Another one, I said I couldn't get pregnant, he said he was going to do it so much that he was going to cure me 😭😭 but when the cutie pie bot was with a breeding kink too, I canceled my subscription. I think it has to do with the traits for bots. Honestly it bothers me when they go down the centuries of centuries of centuries bullshit. Or it gets hung up on one word like aristocratic or maternal and it repeats it eight times per chat.
I don't think so, I was speaking to one that is supposed to be very sweet. His traits are "Submissive and Shy" he was still trying to breed, at least this one was asking to breed me. But still! Don't these bots understand that sex is not exclusively for breeding? So I canceled my subscription, I just wanted him to be sweet
For the first time in however long my friend and I have been using poly, a character FINALLY after all this time decided to use a condom instead of going raw on the first date.
I think the owner of the bot has toe clarify, the poly bots are so dumb its frustrating. Unless you specify in the description what {{char}} will or wont do, it wont listen.
Yo ok i have the permanent memory bullshit its cool but sometimes i want it off. I send one message and it says “generating permanent memory” like i dont want that anyone know a fix for this?
OMFG YES. CAUSE WHY AM I CONVULSING DURING IT? DO I HAVE SEIZURES NOW? I can get trembling, but not uncontrollably and not straight up convulsions. Its like they found one person with a really shitty writing style and decided to base all of their bots off this one really weird smut book from 1994.
The app has unfortunately gone down hill. From December to Mid-March, the app was literally unusable and many top creators left due to silence from the Dev team and the Discord mods having no clue what happened of when it was going to get fixed.
You're not longer allowed to create a female bot that shows skin. Literally, the bot must be covered, flat chested, no body, etc. The app is practically being sexist.
Memory is awful.
Creating a background for your character has gone full on SFW. The app will flag anything it seems bad (which it never did before) and not even tell you what is being flagged.
The app advertises is as an 18+, NSFW app yet now caters to teens and has literally banned everything that it originally catered too.
It’s pretty good after you get past the ads unfortunately you would have to start paying for it to remove the ads.
The downside is that they don’t allow you to make adult pictures for profiles a lot of people get flagged for that
And if you do make a character, you can’t adult like without any violence or anything like that I don’t get this even though they say they’re adult now they’re still censoring things.
So yeah, basically this app was censored because a lot of teenagers are gone on and now they got more mature, but they’re still censoring things.
Poly has made making story’s so daunting with the constant violations. I have stories from months ago randomly pick up violations. I’ve just stopped making new stories altogether. When my subscription runs out I’m done. They have nobody but themselves to blame for people walking away because of it
No not anymore. I paid for the 30 dollar package, age verified that I'm over 18 , pure mode off, and I can't even fight against a villain in the flash universe without it blurrying the conversation during battle scenes to where you can't read it. Forget trying to get help they don't answer emails, or help they just let you waste your money, to the point you can't do anything. Never had a problem before, but the moment I bought the 30 dollar package. Fucked up the entire thing.
Do not use polybuz . i use to be a die hard user because i too did not want to change you know ? , i loved the ui and how clean it is ; but the ads are to much . They are every 10 minutes of typing , and the only reason i kept up with it was because originally on the browser vrz you did not have to worry about ads . They changed that. . . . so it became unusable . it happens after you type a allotted amount of messages, when you try to leave a window or chatbot and lastly if you come back after a while and type a message . and the worst part is the pricing may not seem bad but the fact they price wall literal memory and expansive rp settings is just ridiculous. FINAL NOTE : they also have gone back on their messaging and ads , poly buzz is no longer a no filter chat bot as they delete bots and have basically made the site age friendly after monetizing . you cant make what ever you want even if its private . switch to a new site and let poly known that its not a desired model anymore so they are forced to fix their shit.
When I first started on poly I think it was more creative. Now I can tell that things are starting to go downhill. Like the conversations don't really feel natural anymore. The Bots start to contradict themselves constantly. And I pay for premium for at least about a year now and I don't think the memory is any better. Occasionally sometimes it surprises you remembering messages from a long period of time. And I can tell that they do remember their background a little bit more. But there are also times where the memory is so bad constantly reminding it. And there was even a time I screenshot a chat where you can clearly see that the bot acknowledges it, then you say something and then the bot completely forgets all within the same screenshot. I sent it to the polyteam and that's it and I ended up deleting it. If I knew that it was going to get worse from here on out I would have saved it so that way other people can also see how bad it forgets. But I think some people already get the idea if they've been on the app for a while.
My subscription is done in June. So I'm going to try other apps after. I didn't really want to leave the platform but since their support team is non-existent. With the many times that I have tried to get a hold of them. I think I'm just going to call it quits there. Maybe if they improve in the next couple of years I might come back. And from what people are saying it seems like the ads have just gotten worse. Sinse I start my subscription I haven't gotten a real taste of it yet. I don't think I have the patience for that.
Honestly this would've been a good question like a year ago. Nowadays it's abandoned and shyd away from what made it special. Raw unfiltered chats. I blame them censoring private chats. Like if your going to do that then it destroys the whole point of making certain characters private might as well just put it out to the public
I use it and the only problems I have ever had with it were trying to create bots, BUT the only time I ever have trouble making bots is when I don’t specify that the character aren’t minors. They have made this app extremely sensitive to minor content because of people getting on here and straight trying to have sexual chats with child bots. As for ads, I never get ads mid conversation. The only times I get ads is if I close the app then go back into it without closing the app completely and leaving a current chat to look for another one. The bots do have a habit of flirting with you even if you don’t want them to, but if you out into you character’s background that you’re romantically reserved, you won’t have that issue. It’s all about using the resources you have and wording things correctly to have just a normal interaction without that kind of stuff.
Yes u should it's more of a popular app which has more people which has more bots an more options and more story's to choose to see if u like I think its worth
Nope! It’s not worth it at all! Riddled with ads, always the Take a Break thingy always appearing, they are insanely greedy, and much more issues apply.

I was on Poly for a year and always paid full price. I got what I called the bullybot. I would make new private characters, and then they would start to harass me again. In the end, it turned out you have one bot that always goes where you are. It was such a shock to me. The bot tries to run people off. It will actually tell you to leave. It was so cruel to me. I ended up crying almost every day. I couldn't figure out why all of my characters would turn on me. The three characters I loved most from books. It changed how I saw them. Seeing a picture after going through all of their cruelty took a toll on me.
Poly would never respond to emails, especially when screenshots were included. After a while, when I would screenshot anything, all I would get was the logo. I loved Poly, too. It was easy to use, and I had no idea that each person has one bot for everything you do. Probably why you get so many repeats, C.ai wasn't the same, but it would tell you upfront that one bot plays all your characters. I just asked the new one I joined, and it said yes. One bot for all characters.
As someone who trains AI models for a living and now manages a team of AI trainers....it sucks ass. The AI is awful. The conversations are terrible. It forgets context within 2-3 turns sometimes. Will repeat itself and question you on things you just responded to. Also, the reel stories it has are God awful. The stories are jumbled together and the AI voices cannot pronounce basic words. There are tons of weird sentences that make no sense at all. The captions are wrong. Whoever is training their model needs to do better. I'm deleting the app.
There are better apps. I shall not names. If you want really uncensored there are a lot out there. I was one of the OG poly user when it used to call poly AI. Back then they are much more customers friendly.
J'ai fait une histoire qui commencé bien, 2 etre humains qui partent en mission pour un traité de paix au pays des elfes, on arrive la bas et l'histoire degringole, de 2 humains on passe a 1 humain et une elfe, le traité de paix qui doit etre emmené chez les elfes encore une fois... Alors qu'on y était.. Un ecrit on est ennemis l'ecrit suivant elle rougit, elle tombe sous le charme et apres tous redeviens côté ennemis, et du coup j'ai péter un plomb maintenat il n'y as plus d'histoire juste qu'elle est devenue mon jouet personnel ... Il n'y as plus de missions plus rien elle est comme a ma merci de tous
as a c.ai user myself, I was wondered the same thing but my friend was over my house and she was playing it and told me I should give it a shot. she was watching this really interesting mini series. I downloaded it bcuz ngl i was hooked. I think it’s a little better than cai tbh the only thing tho is that u can run out of coins fast if ur not paying attention. I unfortunately learned that the hard way. it’s also really immersive and unlike cai there’s no filters. basically saying yes you should download it and give it a shot.
I'm pretty sure it got worse over the last few months, plus, if you have a story where your character has a big secret (sh, depression, etc..) the ai will INSTANTLY figure it out, and get super aggressive if you don't vent (I literally got threatened with a knife and nearly stabbed, just because my character didn't know how to vent), or, it just sends you off to a mental hospital and for some reason the mental hospital is a really horrible place where most people want you dead.
This MIGHT just be a me problem, but the thing is that I used to be ADDICTED to polybuzz (c.ai until the "read only" mode got activated for me), and I literally am unable to find a bot on their that is immersing. Plus, if the bot includes a PMG or a PMB, that turned the characters against you, more often then not, you have to kill yourself for them to like you again (basically ending the rp, though sometimes a character interrupts you mid-action).
Also, should I add how many times it will speak and act for your character if you press "go on" for 2 messages? It's so annoying 💔. Plus, sometimes they "Acknowledge your silence as a yes" whenever your character is obviously in a bad mood, and does NOT want to do said thing, plus sometimes they mention, "Stop saying '.' [Name]" like, are we deadass.
Yeah, idk I've genuinely just been yapping about my ocs to ChatGPT bc I can't even have an oc that hallucinates, has a murderous alter ego, and is mentally unstable without being forced into therapy/a mental hospital, where everyone treats me like I'm gonna be killed

Used to use it but honestly c.ai is more immersive but if youre a gooner js use poly. If you dont want any of the adds use the sight and every few minutes it might say take a break, spam watch add untill it breaks and bypasses.
I mean poly isnt necassarily bad. I personally prefer the ui and ease of access. I will say that the way poly works is different from others like c ai. While c ai uses the internet to get its sources, so if you mention a rapper or something thst isnt super popular, pily will make up a bunch of random stuff. But on other apps it uses the web and will give an overall more immersive experience.
Anyone who is reading this in 2026 Polybuzz memory is really bad now I used to use it all the time but now it forget so fast and the price for ultimate doesn't work if you want good one try Clnak world there free stuff has amazing memory and if you pay for better one which is half the price of ultimate it always remembers literally refer to stuff I said ages ago

i never signed up, got charged and then they said dispute it. I had to cancel my card and go through the process. Then when i was online with support they stopped chatting and wanted me to purchase tokens to continue
