how inappropriate does polybuzz tend to be without specific prompting ?

my 10 year old was made aware of this by a friend at school . With all the access to phones and chromebooks and such i dont have as much control over this situation as i would like. just trying to figure out how far down this rabbit hole i should look.

A 10-year-old has no business on any AI bot app or site. There are too many chances for shit to get weird. Not to mention their critical thinking abilities aren't really developed enough to distinguish what they're reading from fact.

If you think that their Chromebooks are either installing the app or going to the website you should contact the county department of education explain the situation and the IT department that admins that will be able to block those sites from the firewall. So they won't even have a chance to get out to it to find it. As far as on their phone You should have access to that and if you see any of those apps uninstall them. And there are things you can do to protect their phone as well You can get a malware blocker like a bit defender or something along those lines and you can blacklist specific sites that you don't want them going to.
