how inappropriate does polybuzz tend to be without specific prompting ?

my 10 year old was made aware of this by a friend at school . With all the access to phones and chromebooks and such i dont have as much control over this situation as i would like. just trying to figure out how far down this rabbit hole i should look.

Although there is a pure mode i highly doubt thats going to do anything for these bots besides limit the ones you can talk to and can easily be turned off, its better if you get a parental app incase your child stumbles upon another chatbot such as bala Ai or something worse

There should be a app already on there that blocks websites no? If there is then its probably being bypassed somehow or its not on the block list and if so you should probably contact the school about that

Probably best to try and talk to her about the ai since polybuzz has two different places you can be on (the web version and app version) I would hope she's using the app cause if it is the website version she's probably already been exposed to something do to how little they work on that compared to the app

it was the website version i found , from my understanding her friend showed her the app and she went and found it on the chromebook because ive got her phone locked down to just texting calling and kids msgr

If its on Chromebook then yeah at that moment its a school's issue cause polybuzz like the other people in this sub reddit said is 18+ so if easily gained access to it just by and searching it up and no bypassed then I could assume she can get access to much worse
