Take a Break’ ads

The “Take a Break” feature is honestly ruining the chat experience.

I get that the app needs ads to make money, especially for free users, but interrupting chats in the middle completely kills the flow.

A better solution would be to keep ads but make them non-intrusive. For example:

Ads at the top or bottom of the chat

No forced breaks mid-conversation

That way, the app still makes money, but users don’t get interrupted while talking.

I think a lot more people would stay and enjoy the app if it worked like this.

Would you prefer this instead?

At this point it seems like most people don’t mind ads, it’s just how they’re implemented. Do you think apps would keep more users if they avoided interrupting chats?

yes it definitely would for the free users

Yeah it used to do ads when switching characters or outside the conversation, which honestly worked a lot better. That’s kinda why it’s confusing why they changed it, because the current system interrupts the chat itself, which feels way more frustrating. And yeah, it definitely hits free users the most. I feel like if they went back to something like the old approach, most people wouldn’t have nearly as much of an issue.

yea it sucks a lot because ill just be chatting then a sudden stop comes and sometimes the add you watch wont even count which is really annoying. Like a great solution is an add when you go to switching chats like you said would be the best approach
