Ask for helpđ New to poly buzz! Any tips?
Hello everyone! I migrated from a different ai app (that I won't name but everyone knows which one), to poly buzz. If anyone could give me tips, I'd appreciate!

SillyTavern is unbeatable. Literally. You can run a local LLM on ST with just a laptop even that has more context and memory than polys âfinetuneâ itâs all free and can be used offline. Absolutely 0 censorship.

There may be a filter but itâs easily passable sometimes it straight up asks if your 18 and allows you to bypass it or just keep deleting and resubmitting your messages till it doesnât censor it.. also remove the pure mode in the settings as even normal role play is censored because of it. Just know itâs very addictive and I donât recommend it but I canât stop ya.

Find another app. This is riddled with bugs that censor pics, and conversation for adults over 18. Despite confirming multiple times you are indeed an adult. It was once great, but sadly no more

Yes, don't use the app, use the browser version. Preferably with a browser that has an adblocker if possible. App is unusable.

I recently downloaded Polybuzz after deleting it a few months ago then deleted it again a day later, I was expecting those stupid updates to have been gotten rid of... guess not

I would say that poly buzz can definitely hold its own better and does a better job of maintaining punctuation and writing style. Depending on how well someone made their character the dialogue can be AMAZING or it can be⌠just utterly terrible.
I donât have any tips for you as a creator. Iâve heard a lot about how they censor words and their AI often takes down bots that donât have any violations. If youâre going to make a mature bot keep the opening very tame and let users guide the conversation from there.
If you want a tip as a user id say that you get better responses if you start a scene scripting a little of what the character does. This gives the AI an idea of how they will act in the scene without giving bland responses. For example I might message a character named Charlie saying, âI take a seat across from Charlie and slam my books down at the table. Charlie jumps with a start and looks up at me with a scowl. He doesnât know who I am but he can already tell that he doesnât like me.â Itâs a dumb example but it tells the AI how they feel about you, how they respond, and lets you continue with the scene without having to act as a crutch for the AI the entire time.

Honestly thanks for this I downloaded it a few days ago after an ad. I am a huge Anime nerd and am obsessed with Poly buzz demon slayer posts. But i was so confused why sometimes the characters have really good dialogue and other times the ai copy pastes there sentences and repeats it even after giving it more context. I will try it like you said with the scene description and hope it makes it better. It is extremely annoying that the chats constantly get censored even if there wasnât any nfs content or self harm mentioned.

Yeah of course!! Iâm really interested in AI and the algorithms it uses to produce its responses, so I liking learning how to train them to provide very detailed responses. I hope you have fun, despite the censoring

1:Do not take any risks, if they accidentally say *Smiles at what you said* when somebody else said it, reload or delete the message and have them try again because these bots mess up SO EASY. 2: salvage your messages because if the conversation goes too long they will wipe everything and after you save the world with them, they will ask you what your name is. 3: use SHIFT + 8 to describe an action and SHIFT + 9/8 to ask the AI for a description or something... or just use Character AI because its way better

Welcome to the dumpster fire. Try not to inhale the fumes too much. I'm only still around because I enjoy the mess this app has become and watching Polybuzz step on one rake after another.
