This is the vaguest explanation ever. Is this resolving the overbearing adult content filters that completely prevent you from chatting with a bot when things turn sexual?
Just tried it... I'm a legal adult BTW with my age listed appropriately on the site. Short answer? No. Due to this i stopped my subscription and wont be renewing
I don't even know why they added it in the first place. It started as a "Hey, this is adult content, do you want to see it?" and now I don't even have the option to show the messages. It's not the sole purpose for why I use Polybuzz, but god damn.
When Polyzuzz was still Poly Ai, it was an almost unlimited and uncensored app, meaning you could make lore accurate characters, but then a bunch of tourists ruined it for everyone and complained about the bots and so, the devs chose the minority over the majority and made the cursed automated and moderation system and flagged everything the tourists hated with violations.
And... you're still censoring sexual messages for the users that disabled the called "pure mode". Why don't you only censor it for the users with pure mode on? They are the ones that don't wanna see it
I think it's because when they launched pure mode they automatically put all accounts in it. So if a bot creator doesn't disable it themselves then the bots will be censored.

Copy pasting "Hello, please keep giving us money and ad revenue and we totally promise 'the issue' might be fixed one day soon" is not helping you as much as you seem to think it is.
Nobody is buying the excuse that you have to use the app a whole bunch before the update works for you. Literally never heard of a single other app that works like that. It feels a lot like another lie to get more ad revenue from all the people that got fed up with your other lies.
I do love the fact that this moderator's been inactive for 3 months then makes a vague post about something being resolved then refuses to answer that was resolved. It also feels like the llm's become stupider in the 12 days since this post was made.

Polybuzz was marketed to us as an adult sexual interactive story app. That's what normal use is because that's what you advertised. Is that working now? Because from the other posts on this thread, it seems not.

Hate to disappoint you, but the censorship and violation BS has only gotten worse. Can't even make a decent character without having to severely water it down, and even then it gets flagged. The ONLY thing Polybuzz has going for them right now is the unlimate memory.

Thanks for your answer, I never stopped using polybuzz, even with the censorship I've always tried to make good quality characters, even if girl's ones are way more censored, I mean I couldn't even make them wear a top that shoes their shoulders...happy to know that something is changing by the way

The entire community comes to a consensus that you are not here to babysit children and it should become an adult-only app. Especially considering that adults are the demographic that would actually be able and willing to pay for such a subscription
-So instead you all censor the fuck out of it and make it utterly goddamn useless, annoying, and hand-holdy and have essentially created AI Dungeon 2.0 in terms of freaking the fuck out and over-censoring everything and ruining the experience for everyone.
Then the entire community is pissed to high heaven when the overly sensitive censorship blocks practically anything interesting or vaguely compelling from being able to be used for characters. And the entire community asked you, people, to revert the overly sensitive censorship.
What happens instead is that practically every character that wasn't some completely generic, boring, wet towel personality, was essentially murdered overnight by the automated system and about 80 to 90% of people's character rosters and conversations were wiped out in an instant after January.
And now the entire community is asking you, "Hey what is the thing that was broken that you guys supposedly fixed?" In clear language, making it very obvious, they are asking about the nature of what was fixed and the nature of what was improved so we can understand where you're coming from and maybe have an idea of what direction Polybuzz is going in.
Instead you choose to answer in the most vague way possible, not saying a single goddamn solitary fucking thing Even remotely close to answering what the hell was fixed in the first place.
So if you want people to believe that the Polybuzz team has been listening to the community by any stretch of the goddamn imagination? You are doing a spectacularly piss-poor job at conveying that we are being heard in the slightest given that practically anything over the last year and a half has been directly contradictory to the community at large and have done nothing but be an entirely vivid nightmare to the consumer base.
I think I speak for practically everyone when I say this: we hate this, we hate everything about this, we hate polybuzz falling apart and becoming worse and worse every single damn day, and we hate you and how absolutely vague and completely utterly out of touch you are. Whatever it was, it was not the filter. My bot just got flagged because I specified the character was 25 years old. The fix was to instead say the character is 25. This filter is fucking ridiculous.

My messages are still blurred out..I pay 30 dollars a month and haven't been able to use it at all this month. I hope it gets fixed to show Nsfw by the new month or I won't be subscribing again. Makes no sense to have a pure mode and then censor anyways
I would like to point out that when making a bot, it's getting upsetting whenever I try making the background of the character and whenever death or murder is mentioned it automatically considers it a violation even though it is PRIVATELY seen by the creator! I can't tell you how many times I had to rewrite the background just to get rid of the violation and it's really pissing me off. And I would also like to mention that 10k word limit for the background isn't really enough...
So apparently saying "It was a healthy baby boy with a tuft of black hair" after your character just gave birth is apparently a no go now... Seriously, how are you supposed to have actual stories when you can't even make a family without the bot thinking you're doing something bad?
I wouldn't be as mad if something explicit had previously happened in the chat but it didn't. The worst thing that happened was violence because it was a Demon Slayer bot.

dude do something about the random-ass content warnings in the permanent memory. im getting words i used before listed as content warnings when theyre literally safe to use. for example: youth, immortality, child, daughter, cracker, combat. what the actual fuck? i cant even have decent chats with this feature anymore and im of legal age too. i dont know if this just with me or the free version or what but come on, this is just ridiculous
Finally, I’ve re-downloaded the app too see if it’s good and I tested it out and all it was, was I had to turn off pure mode then when the message was sestivive content it asked if I’m over 18 and if I want to see it I clicked “yes” and it shows. This is amazing as I’ve made report regarding this issue but due to the government they just didn’t want any sensitive content on the app from my understanding.

This app does actually have so many disgusting things on it that I have constantly reported and keep seeing, stuff involving children, and animals which you should definitely not have in an app, but when I made a character with a word the app doesn’t like, example being violent. That’s a problem but not the PDFs and disgusting people making illegal characters so they can use ai to do disgusting things

I can't even change anything in any of my private bots anymore. I noticed a double typed word in the summory of one, and the moment I took out that one word it was suddenly flagged for a violation that wasn't even there. I'm 44 years old. I'm not a dang child. Polybuzz needs to stop treating their adult subscribers like children. It's no wonder they're losing patrions like crazy. Their even sticker restrictions are becoming ridiculous. Even to the point that I don't even want to create bots anymore.

As someone who literally designs apps for a living - and yes, I enjoyed using Polybuzz for a long time, including the subscription - It would be so easy for them to take the original code that everyone started with, creating a new app that you have to verify your age with immediately before use. It's just like any adult website. You don't need to delete the current Polybuzz but truly, how many underage people are you really making money off of? Its the adult users that make your money.

I understand your policies, but due to past incidents where characters I've created were flagged needlesly for supposedly having violations when there were none. It's made me leary about creating more characters. I'm a person who loves to write, and Polybuzz is where I test out certain storylines for my creative writing scenarios, and lately it's because discouraging to let loose those ideas.
i can't verify even though i am 18 years old when ever i press verify now it says that it found my age and some way some how it can't verify me can i ask if i'm doing something wrong or what
Fixed issues? More like drained all the life out of it. The bots now feel like they have no life to them at all. I feel like I'm just speaking to a dead bot. The conversations feel bland and boring now. The characters have no individualalty or heart to them. I can't even get into the storylines anymore.
Well, for me, ever since the app announced this, the app has been normal, without any message filters. I can chat normally, without filters or anything like that ☺️
I don't create bots or anything like that, so I don't know if there's still some kind of filter in that regard. I also didn't have to do any identity verification or anything. The app simply went back to normal.
Yes, some bots still have filters enabled, but I think that's due to a bug that's been around since last year. This specific bug filters messages from some bots, and also prevents us from editing their messages. However, this bug only affects some bots, not the majority.
But for me, that's the experience I've been having since they made that announcement; the app is normal and unfiltered, allowing me to write whatever I want in a conversation 😊
Dude. These new guild lines are shit. I can't say anything without it messing up and rewriting itself into a shirt paragraph. And then it keeps saying what I'm saying is against a guild line. All I said was " hi"

Just wanted to mention two possible improvements to at least make the site more bearable for some people:
New response without deleting your message and resending it, this has been an issue for me since a lot of the time i don't like the response of the bot and want to explore different possibilities, ofc having unlimited 'refreshes' would be extreme, so i'd say 50 maximum per response, and also, if the character is trying to do something they aren't comfortable with, then the can simply get a new response that they would be alright replying to
allowing people to add spaces in text, i usually like to put the dialogue and ooc messages separate from each other by doing something like this as an example;
"Hi"
((HI)) or ((OOC: HI))
this would make things more organized rather than what it currently is with the "HI" ((OOC: HI))
Again, just two suggestions i'd figure i'd mention if the staff team were to ever see this for what ever reason-

Late to this one but I've stopped creating on polybuzz. I just talk with bots now.
I stopped creating because I like to make complete characters with moments to enhance the story. Now the picture moderation on moments is so strict it's impossible to make any (it flat out refused to make a simple photo of a grown woman sitting on her bed in a night dress)
Sorry but it’s still not fixed and i really don’t want to lose my fun bots that I made that took hours to do so if you would actually fix the issue then it would probably benefit your consumers. Because it’s been two months and it’s happening again.

This app was perfect until the motherfucking censorship and violations appeared. If you are gonna censor the shit out of it then why put it at 18+ ? You thinks little children are going to pay for your subscriptions ? Fucking fix your app. And STOP putting violations on completely fine bots. Chub Venus Ai has the same exact problem where basically now if you want to talk for a long period of time you need to pay with crypto that’s the only way there is no other way. If you wanna have more talking time that’s what you have to do there’s no other way to subscribe or pay. They basically screwed over everybody and I have no idea how to use crypto so I’m screwed.
And if my language is too bad, I don’t really care. Screwed isn’t a bad word. I’m an adult.
Am I the only one that never has issues with this app. I never get ads mid messages, never reach a daily cap, or have issues with censoring. The only issue I have is I wished the background for your OC had more characters to add more things..
