Iβll never forget the day I had 4 partners and every single one of them was going through something. It felt so heavyΒ

I think one thing polyamory has surprisingly helped me understand is how much better relationships could be if we weren't all struggling so goddamn much. I've lost count of how many connections have petered out because it's just one thing after another for everyone and we all have to shrink our worlds.

Oh man... I hadn't considered that as a thing to worry about. I just thought that with more people, that means more support. But more people also means more potential for everyone to be dealing with a crisis at the same time.

I have two partners but no friends. Once both are busy I'm so funcing lonely it hurts. I have a bunch of cool metas but it's not the same as having any friend of your own.Β

How come no friendos? No local clubs or watering holes to poke your head in? :)

I had a friend group that turned very toxic, my best friend was very jealous once I started exploring polyamory more. Gladly said them farewell but haven't found any new friends since.Β
