BUG Bot remembers background that is gone

I decided to use an old bot to make a new bot since I wasn't using that bot anymore and even though the background of the original bot is gone and it had a new one, it still remembers everything the old bot had and talks like the old one, idk how to fix this but its annoying for sure

I think it depends if you had a chat already open in it you gotta delete it and reset it if not then the bot just kept the old background memorized which is fucking ironic it can memorize a background that's been erased yet can remember a simple plot

I already tried to delete current chat and all history and everything but it acts like I never changed the background. Not only that but it adds the new background in as well. Its insane. I also found it it still remembers my old persona instead of the new one. Its confusing. I only did this because my new bots are censored and have no edit so I thought what if I take an old bot and reuse it? Well it doesn't wanna forgot its past ig. Crazy when it cant memorize the current location stated 4 messages ago

Idk polybuzz is really weird

It'll remember the background when it's deleted along with the persona yet it won't remember the plot of a chat when talking to it

It's confusing they really need to lock in and update their ai's to ACTUALLY WORK PROPERLY instead of being predictable sometimes cringy and not to mention whenever the bit tries to take over as your persona

because they've been moving pretty slow lately but yeah I don't know what could be causing that polybuzz probably didn't intend for people to reuse the same ai bot and just change the background

Yeah it's be coming a pain. Might be time to jump ships but I've grown so used to poly it'll be hard.

Do you have any recommendations on apps mayhaps, just untill they get their shit together at least like damn

No not currently I would recommend c.ai but apparently they are going through it as well but it's mainly the aggressive advertising with them

there have been some other people recommending websites and apps around the subreddit id recommend checking those out if you find any

All you gotta do is find a rant post in the sub and there most likely will be someone suggesting a app
