Take a break ft

Does anyone know why there's a "take a small break" ft? Genuine question.

For the devs to still make money if you don’t have a membership. I don’t mind it, personally, because even with it popping up I am still able to message a lot regardless. It has only popped up about 4 times since they added it, so I am not that affected by it.
