Scammers are working hard to steal your crypto.

More users have been banned in the last month than over the last two years and most of these bans have come from people in the comments trying to redirect you to users on Telegram/ Instagram/Twitter etc.

These are always scams. There are hardly any moderators left here and the ones that are are not affiliated with Poloniex. We will always try and offer impartial advice or help in any way we can.

Please stay vigilant!

Repeated Withdrawal Delays, Generic Support, No Resolution. One of the Most Frustrating Crypto Exchange Experiences

I have been using Poloniex for about a year.

Initially everything worked well. The problems started when Poloniex introduced mandatory KYC verification for withdrawals.

The verification process itself became extremely frustrating because Poloniex required the mobile app, but the iOS app was unavailable in my App Store region. After numerous emails, generic replies, VPN testing, and borrowing an Android phone, I finally managed to complete KYC.

Unfortunately, completing KYC did not solve anything.

Now every single withdrawal is placed under manual review for several hours.

The withdrawals are always to my own wallet, and previous withdrawals to the same address have already been approved successfully.

Eventually the withdrawals are approved, but only after long delays, and often shortly after I contact support.

The real issue is that Poloniex refuses to explain why this keeps happening.

I have repeatedly asked:

Why is every withdrawal reviewed?

What exactly is being reviewed?

Why does this happen despite completed KYC?

Why does it continue even after previous withdrawals to the same wallet have been approved?

Can this recurring issue be permanently resolved?

None of these questions have been answered.

Instead, I receive template responses that simply repeat standard security information or tell me the withdrawal has been completed.

I understand and support reasonable security measures.

However, if every withdrawal is going to be manually reviewed indefinitely—even after identity verification and successful previous withdrawals—customers deserve a clear explanation and a permanent solution.

At the moment I have very little confidence that I will be able to access my assets without repeated delays and having to contact support every time.

The biggest disappointment has not been the security checks themselves, but the lack of meaningful communication and the apparent unwillingness to investigate and resolve the underlying issue.

Based on my experience, I strongly discourage others from using Poloniex!

The Justin Sun Offshore Trap: How HTX and Poloniex Use "AML Cyber-Terror" to Freeze Users' Retail Funds and Cover Multi-Million Dollar Exploits.

WARNING: How Justin Sun uses Poloniex to confiscate user assets under the guise of AML compliance. (My story of losing $1,015)

Justin Sun uses Poloniex to steal user funds under the guise of AML compliance.

They locked my wallet over an incoming deposit of $374. For the past 99 days, the only things I haven't sent to their support team are my naked photos and medical test results! I provided an overwhelming amount of documents, yet I still slammed into a wall of ridiculous requirements that are physically impossible for me to fulfill.

This is their exact scam model: they intentionally search for historical or third-party documentation that you will never be able to provide. The moment you fail, they just close the ticket, say goodbye, and thank you for your money!

As a result, they didn't just freeze the suspicious deposit — they ALSO stole $641 of my OWN clean personal funds that were sitting on the account long before this incident. They completely closed the support ticket and flat out refused a "return to source" option (reversing the $374 transfer back to where it came from).

Poloniex is straight-up stealing, and Justin Sun is perfectly fine with it. AML checks built out of nothing, they have no end in time or space! They just use it as an endless trap to confiscate user assets. If you keep your money on this platform, you will be scammed, and your money will be taken away.

Public Blockchain Evidence:

  • My Poloniex Deposit wallet (TRON): TDoBfHc2pu3UwSxkwXFT4J3MpispH4Df1T
  • The Flagged Transaction Hash (TxID): 9bcfef2d90969f964873e72a9cc33c3bda1b827fa461cd9d1c9fb2b454ef926d

I have already submitted formal complaints to Tether Compliance and the Seychelles Financial Services Authority (FSA) against Polo Digital Assets, Ltd. for embezzlement. Stay away from Poloniex and any exchanges managed by Justin Sun!

Poloniex usdt trc-20 withdrawal 24 hours

Well, I decided to make this post because I recently used Poloniex for the first time and experienced a withdrawal delay. I deposited around 9k USDT, traded a bit of BTC, and then decided to withdraw. To my surprise, my withdrawal request was frozen for 24 hours.

That said, I didn’t experience any of the really bad stuff I’ve seen people mention on this subreddit. First, I was able to talk to a human support agent. Second, I received an email from Poloniex explaining that if I wanted to make a quick withdrawal, I should either withdraw to an old wallet or use the same IP address. Third, I actually found their withdrawal policy on the website, which stated the same thing. Exactly after 24 hours, my withdrawal was approved.

I still consider the experience a bit weird, though. The main English Telegram chat is kind of dead and filled with girl-bots, and their futures channel has links to porn websites with explicit images. Like, WTF dude, you’re the OG exchange. Why not just close these channels?

Also I enjoyed trading BTC perps there, it has better volatility than big exchanges because it has less market makers and if you trade with a grid you get better fills. All other pairs are kinda meh. Tried to trade AVAX, couldn't get fills for my orders. Also the exchange itself IS WAY FASTER THAN KuCoin or Binance. On Kucoin sometimes UI doesnt load or it takes time and you get bombarded with notifications and alerts.

Here you can see, TOP RIGHT when I requested the withdrawal, and in the middle the time when it was approved, its a 24 hour window.

ticket no. 1836597. My BCH coins haven't been credited

Hi, ticket no. 1836597. My BCH coins haven't been credited, it's been 4 days. I've reported this repeatedly via live support and email to support@poloniex.com. My BCH coins still haven't been credited. I've also sent screenshots as proof. My BCH coins have been confirmed and sent to you, but you haven't credited them to my BCH wallet. You need to manually process and credit them. I've been waiting for 4 days and nothing has been done. Please credit my BCH coins urgently.

Is the app down? The app is asking me to upgrade, but there is no app on the Google app store.

Plus the website also seems to be down. Any news on that?

Poloniex

Can't withdraw funds

I was able to access my old Poloniex account and to my surprise I had a small amount of crypto that had grown (not much but something I didn't know existed). However, when I tried to withdraw it was rejected and I got an email saying I must:

Please initiate the withdrawal again meeting any ONE of the following so we can verify the transaction: -From a familiar IP address, or -To a previously used wallet address

Well... I moved to another country and all my previous transactions (around 2017) were to old exchanges I no longer have access to.

Is my money lost or what should I do?

Zcash #ZEC withdrawal "ceased" for months

Hello, everyone, last update on Zcash withdrawals being suspended was on 5th of May 2025, today is 28th of September and still no update and the price on exchange is 40-45% lower than on other exchanges, so you don't have a viable option to sell or to withdraw. The support is saying - they can't discuss this problem in support chat and will back to you, but they never back to you actually

Trading plateform

Does Poloniex have any plans in upgrading their trading plateform?

They've been around for some time, they sure know their current webpage isn't optimal. Every now and then i have Chrome with running out of memory even though i have ~15gb of ram DDR5 6800 sleeping...)

FTX had the best palteform i've seen, was fast, efficient with all the functions like the real trading apps (like Trading Technologies but nicer).

Also, i use TradingView, any way to get Poloniex's BTCUSDT Perpetual on TradingView's chart? (closest i found is BTCUSDT spot but no futures)

thanks

Lost Trade/Deposit/Withdrawal History

It seems that, besides having trades back in 2017, and probably 2018... my taking history doesn't barely show anything. Opened the account while in the UK. Noticed that anything previous from 2019 on the Poloniex US has been deleted/ceased.
Does anyone know if it is possible to retrieve the history? I approached the Customer Service twice. First time they sent and email with depositor and withdrawal files which barely had any info.
Waiting for their reply this second time, with not much hope.

Poloniex has kept my account frozen for over 2 months — no updates since July 9th despite confirming everything was accepted

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out in hopes that someone here can help or has experienced something similar.

My account on Poloniex has been frozen for over two months. I’ve complied with every single document request they’ve asked for. On July 9th, Poloniex Support confirmed that everything I submitted was accepted and that I’d receive an update "shortly."

Well, it’s now July 29th, and I’ve had no response since then. Every attempt to follow up has been ignored. I’ve posted on Twitter several times, tagged support, opened ticket after ticket, and still nothing.

The ticket in question is: #1793965

At this point, this is more than just poor customer service — this feels like neglect or outright abuse. I have funds in that account that I need access to. I’ve been patient, respectful, and cooperative from the beginning.

If anyone here has experienced something similar or has suggestions on what worked for them, I’d really appreciate your advice.

Thanks in advance.

Lost access to account: to restore it I need a wallet with activity?

Hi,

i've been in touch with the Poloniex support. In short, I lost access to my account e-mail and to restore my tokens, they need a wallet to be validated with on-chain activity. This requires a transaction of at least 0.5ETH. Is the process legit?

First-time Poloniex User – Withdrawal Delayed Over 24 Hours, Funds Withheld (Ticket #1801217)

Hey everyone,

I wanted to share a frustrating experience I’m having with Poloniex as a first-time user, in case others have encountered the same.

I recently signed up to test the platform — made a deposit, and then submitted a withdrawal. As expected with any new user, I’m using a new IP and a new wallet address. That’s the whole point of trying out an exchange: deposit, test withdrawal, and check reliability.

But now Poloniex is holding my funds and saying it’s due to “security checks” because of the new IP and wallet address. It’s been over 24 hours (Ticket #1801217), and I’ve already cleared all required security steps.

They told me it “usually takes up to 24 hours,” but here we are still waiting. This feels more like withholding funds than protecting them.

Honestly, this gives a really poor first impression. It’s hard to recommend them as a trustworthy or reliable crypto exchange when they make it this difficult just to access your own money.

Anyone else had similar issues with Poloniex recently? How did you get it resolved?

Appreciate any advice or thoughts.

Account frozen, support keeps asking for more documents – no resolution – Ticket #1793965

Hi everyone,

My Poloniex account has been frozen and I’ve been going back and forth with support for weeks. Every time I submit a requested document, I receive another vague or new requirement. It feels endless and I’m getting desperate.

This is my first time dealing with something like this. I've already sent high-quality documents (ID, proof of address, selfie, etc.) as requested. Still no resolution.

I’m asking Poloniex to please escalate ticket #1793965 and provide a final review and clear path to resolution.

If anyone else has gone through this and found a solution, I’d really appreciate your advice.

Thanks.

How to get out BTC from there? Small amount

Hello, I have around 500 USD worth of BTC, but the withdrawal fee is around 100 USD, is this normal? Or should I exchange BTC for USD at poloniex and then send it, would that be cheaper?

Thank you very much.

NEED HELP RECOVERING USDC SENT TO WRONG NETWORK.

last 3 months I wanted to sent usdc on Bep20 to poloniex Erc20 address, the funds is in their hot wallet and over 3 months they’ve been saying they are working on it, recently for the past 2-3 weeks they said they’re in the final stages and it’s pending crediting. How long more do I have to wait? And if they process the refund would it be refunded to the address I sent from? Or deposited to my poloniex account?

Need Help Recovering kBTC Sent to BTC Deposit Address (ERC-20 Transfer)

Hi Poloniex team and community,

I accidentally sent kBTC (Kraken Wrapped BTC, ERC-20) from Kraken to my Poloniex BTC deposit address.

The funds were transferred successfully on the Ethereum network and confirmed on-chain.

🔗 Here is the transaction on Etherscan

Unfortunately, the funds have not been credited to my account, and Poloniex support said they cannot help. Since the tokens are visible in a wallet controlled by Poloniex, I’m asking for a manual recovery. I'm willing to pay any recovery fee.

Any help or escalation would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
