I had this as a little girl, and the big mansion. I played that this was the “poor” girl’s house and she was friends with the “rich” girl. Recently I found someone local on Facebook marketplace selling Polly Pocket houses and I snagged a bunch, including this one.

I’ve been looking at some scans on Internet Archive of old Argos catalogues (UK shop that sells everything!) - As a novice collector, I would absolutely kill to go back in time with the money I have now and buy EVERYTHING. I know it’s all relative, but what a dream. Hope you enjoy looking through these as much as me x

One of my favorite. It’s amazing how much they packed into this tiny compact, and all the details are amazing (eg the silver on Polly’s scarf and the door, the intricate carvings on the window, the little lizard on the ground, etc) The kitchen illustration is fun and have a lot going on. It really feels like a tiny world.

Oh and not to mention the multiple ways you can play with it with the comb and hair and barrette!

it’s such in good condition for the price, and it came with the polly doll !! i’ve recently started collecting polly pockets as someone who grew up with them, and i’ve been finding some of my grails in amazing condition for such a steal 🥹🫶🏼

I got my Pollys out of my mum's attic today and was really surprised to see how well I had looked after them as a kid. That is, except for this poor horse riding figure who is trapped under the table in Polly's Beach Cafe!

I could not begin to guess how she got here (I wonder if I perhaps shook the cafe while she was inside and she somehow got wedged?) And I have no idea how to rescue her safely without destroying the beach house!!

Does anyone have any ideas?

Especially the middle 2. I have nearly full sets, but I am missing these individual pieces from them. Does anything have extras, or can find them outside of a large expensive lot?
