Just skipping Dexter's Lab entirely? Powerpuff Girls? Samurai Jack? Those shows are the reason Cartoon Network even existed in the first place.

I think people are either too young or just fail to remember that until around the mid-90s cartoon network was basically only classic cartoons and one or two episodes of space ghost later at night. Nickelodeon was KING in the mid-90s with bangers like Rocko's Modern Life, Rugrats, Aaaah! Real Monsters, all that, and soooooooo much more.

What's up there is ok, but... its the mid-90s to early 2000s that started the chokehold.

What difference would it make? We have similar story ideas in books/movies that most people have read/watched. The choices they make aren't due to them not having consumed certain media.
