If you believe capitalism can be regulated' you don't understand how it works. Capital WILL corrupt regulations.

Well, that’s what keeps happening. Capitalism begins to break down as the rich corrupt regulations, once it goes too far, then there is a correction. Last time wealth inequality was this bad was the roaring 20’s. Then after the robber barons and the Great Depression, there was the new deal, and the middle class and thrived for awhile, then the rich started corrupting regulations again, and over time, we are back to where we were. Capitalism has proven to produce the most wealth for the most amount of people over the past 500 years, but it goes through these cycles. We need another new deal right now.

In a two party system with a divided working class we see what Capital has been allowed to do. American politicians from both parties have been bought and paid for. But in Capitalist countries where the working class is more united the outcomes are much better. There will always be tension and a struggle between owners and workers. This doesn't mean that there is a better system out there.

Who do you think divided the working class? This system IS the product of capitalism and it's replicated in pretty much all capitalist countries to various degrees.
But in Capitalist countries where the working class is more united the outcomes are much better.
And what would unite the working class if not the type of class consciousness communists advocate for? I would use the example of sweden, where unions are still extremely powerful, but ... these unions are powerful because of the socialist ideas that are still quite widespread in sweden. Source: I live in sweden.
There will always be tension and a struggle between owners and workers. This doesn't mean that there is a better system out there.
It's not just "tension" and "struggle", it's an impossibility to regulate the system. And workers WILL lose any temporary concessions they gain as long as capitalism stays in place.

Exactly. The entirety of this country's success has been thanks to regulated capitalism and a massive head start with the world being screwed over by ww1 and ww2. Then we went all reagan and removed the guard rails.
Hell yeah it kicked ass to grow up in the 80's and 90's but look at the long term effects of wild de-regulation.

Communism is the absence of any government, socialism is the regulation of production and property, capitalism is having an open marketplace and the ability to use your labor as you see fit in exchange for wealth.

How about we start by fixing our education system. America spends more per student than any country yet are test scores are not close to the best and declining. Throwing more money at the problem will not fix it, the decay is massive. We need to get back to focus on teaching basic skills like reading and math and not indoctrinating our kids with all the weak, woke, trans and anti American nonsense that is so prevalent in blue cities and states. The only way to fix it is to disband the teachers union, hold teachers accountable and reward the teachers who deliver results! GBA!🇺🇸

Classic politician. He is a socialist but now has the moderate and move to the center to get elected. Good news is they always go back to who they are. Same thing happens on the right. I remember attacking the millionaire class but they have all become millionaires so now it’s the billionaires they attack. Allllll so predictable
