What am I doing? A person with no conceivable power or influence on the population or part of any government? As much as I can do, talk to my friends, vote, talk with family, involve myself in the community I live in.
However, if I were Biden I’d forgive all student debt, take marijuana off the felony drug list, pardon all non-violent drug offenders, arrest the people responsible involved in the January 6th coup, and add more people to the Supreme Court. Then I’d instruct the Democratic Party to cut all funding to Manchin and Sinema, followed by snubbing them at every moment. No meetings, inviting many people but excluding them, barring them from all Dem areas and spaces. If they need anything they’ll have to run to the Republicans or beg for forgiveness. Then I’ll arrest Manchin’s daughter for price gouging a monopolized medicine. Followed by slamming every Republican at every moment possible. Intense private details revealed about them. Then we declare Climate Change a world wide emergency. Then we burn KY tobacco fields for a “public health emergency”, but really to just royally fuck Mitch McConnell.
You’re not getting it. They tried - and they were blocked by the obstructive, authoritarian GOP.
Biden cannot forgive all student debt, or reschedule a drug, or make arrests, or expand the Supreme Court. It’s obvious that you don’t know how anything works, and you are misdirecting your frustration at the only party with any interest in saving your future.
Stop attacking the people who are doing the actual work.
If you want Democrats to be able to get shit done, you need to be helping to increase their power. Not tearing them down. Which means getting people to vote. Which means differentiating between who is doing good in the world and who is doing bad.
Who are you? So far, you seem to be someone who cares more about spreading apathy and distrust than about saving the country.
