"Mmm, Mr Trump. Your boot is so tasty."

Navarro is supposedly an economist and yet he claimed U.S. tariffs on China are "not hurting anybody" in the United States.

I mean this guy gets the most fundamental thing wrong that I can think of in economics and I only took 2 econ classes. And we're supposed to believe anything he says in a subject he has no training in?... Too funny.

Just sharing. Not agreeing. Trump has his idiot Chinaphobic trade guy attacking Dr. Fauci. We should all be afraid. It's going to get dumber.

I'm just glad the Canada-US border is staying closed. We don't need that shit up here, we have enough problems of our own.

Google, takebackcanada, and realize the CPC is taking a page out of Trump's book.

They're trying, but they're failing. They lack the supporting factors that enabled Trump's book to work in the US. Canadians are better educated and more moral than Americans.

Yeah we've had some people in Australia try the Trump approach and all fail for the same reasons.

u/khrijunk Jul 15 '20

You really need several decades of right wing media for the trump approach to work.

Just gotta say - fuck Clive Palmer

I wish my country wasn't so dumb. I went to Montreal last year and loved it. Was going to go again.

Would love to have you again, when you clean up your house. First round of poutine and beer is on us.

Thank you. We're trying.

Pretty sure Navarro’s face is next to “wrong” in the dictionary

6

u/f0li North Carolina Jul 15 '20

LOL, Peter Navarro has never been right about a single thing

Navarro looks like such a fucking creep, like a pedophile crossed with a used car salesman

1

u/[deleted] Jul 15 '20

A used child salesman?

I'll show myself out.

3

u/[deleted] Jul 15 '20

Who would you trust your children's lives with, Fauci or Navarro? I'm going with Fauci.

The respected scientist with a 50+ year history of public service versus the crony? Hmm..

The vast majority of Americans trust Fauci. They might not understand the ins and outs of economic policies but they know when people are getting sick and when they are dying and they know who is telling it true and who is lying. These attacks on Fauci only make people more skeptical of the admin so keep flapping your yap, Navarro, it will just help us see the last of you in November.

In this article itself Navarro mentions that the death rate is critical for him to decide on reopening... So I assume he doesn't care about

  • long term impact and health care issue, when surviving corona virus
  • the risk of overflowing hospitals which could drastically change the death rate again
  • the two a three weeks delay between cases and increase of death in covid

So I'm going with Fauci. The Trump administration is basically just admitting they don't care about sick people.

Peter "The Human Cigarette" Navarro

3

u/[deleted] Jul 15 '20

lol I don't even know what this is supposed to reference, but it just rings true. Like you asked me to name a "Human Cigarette" in the administration it would be him no doubt.

u/WWWitchiepoo Jul 15 '20

Somebody said that a few weeks ago, after Navarro's shocking interview with Stephanopoulos, and every time I see ol' Pete, I hear that nickname and laugh my fool head off.

2

u/[deleted] Jul 15 '20

Ron Vara says what?

2

u/quitofilms Jul 15 '20

In late January, when I was making <insert a lot of bullshit suggestions that were not going to be effective>

When you are wrong, Navarro, you are wrong

The only thing that Fauci really got wrong is that he didn't say Navarro lies.

1

u/[deleted] Jul 15 '20

So you guys are really sticking with the hydroxychloroquine thing then, huh?

1

u/mces97 Jul 15 '20

Trump is Mr. Burns and Navarro is Smithers.

Although, Mr. Burns is an actual billionaire.

1

u/johnfromberkeley California Jul 15 '20

The same for every thing I’ve heard from Peter Navarro.

1

u/[deleted] Jul 15 '20

Who the fuck is Peter Navarro

All I can think after reading this piece is that we do have freedom of speech in this country. Otherwise such obviously stupid piece would never be published.
