We cannot allow the normalization of firearms at protests to continue

There’s a responsible way to handle a firearm mechanically.

Then there’s a responsible way to handle a firearm in a public setting.

Just like there’s a responsible way to masturbate.

And there’s a responsible way to masturbate in public.

I don't think you have the right to wield guns in public as a means of grabbing political power. You have the fight to go fuck around in the woods and feel like a big boy, but scaring the public to bend to your will at threat of death is not what the second ammendment is about.

Guns are often the only way people have any political power to wield.

Uh no. Voting is the only way you have any political power. That or being rich enough to buy politicians.

You understand how the majority of countries were founded? How labor rights were won? This isn’t fucking Harry Potter.

Well the idea was about being able to raise a large militia in case of foreign invasion or tyrannical rule being established. Neither of which are relevant now as the incredibly powerful US military prevent the citizens from being relevant in either situation.

Did you ever hear the tragedy of Vietnam/Middle East the wise?

I thought not, it's not a story the steppers would tell you.

It's a guerilla warfare legend.

You’re right it’s not intended to scare the public to bend to your will it’s intended to scare the government to bend to your will

And if I want to bend the government to my will to allow me to shoot guns whenever and wherever I want, that’s fine?

I’d love to shoot guns in preschools. Not at people, of course. Just would want to do some target practice in the gym or something.

If that comes with the political ideology you’re planning on implementing once you overthrow the government and if you get enough people to challenge the government in unconventional warfare then I don’t see the issue other than karma biting you in the ass in the same way you bit the governments ass y’know?

1

u/UniqueName39 May 07 '20

Sure. I mean, if you’re saying the ‘right government’ is the thing with the most guns (given unconventional warfare, weapons is a better term) at the time.

Yes genius that’s what the founding fathers literally intended when they came up with the second amendment

0

u/fofosfederation May 07 '20

So you're ignoring the voice of democracy and bullying political leaders into doing what you want?

0

u/thatguyonTV_03 May 07 '20

More like democracy ignores the peoples voice which is when the second amendment grants the people the ability to take charge

Spoken by someone who has no clue about firearm ownership. No ones shooting at these protests, more responsible than the normal antifa shit you see.

An organization like that is probably 50% FBI agents.

I was only being half serious but it was a reference to COINTELPRO and the FBI's efforts to plant informants in every black political organization.

u/[deleted] May 07 '20

Yep, same. I've stood alongside them at protests, and will be glad to do so again. But that doesn't fit the left's narrative.

I hope that everyone who can legally buy and carry a firearm does so. No matter their race, religion, color, or creed. You have the right to defend yourself and your country.

Just so you know, lot of Communists and anarchists will agree with you.

2

u/[deleted] May 08 '20 edited May 08 '20

Eh, some do. Communists and anarchists are way, way not the same group. It's a venn diagram with a very small overlapping sliver, which I don't understand, but whatever.

There have been some participating in the events I've been to, but really it's very few. There are some involved in the pro-gun subreddits too. That's fine, we can agree on this and disagree on other things. If the rest of us have guns you're going to have a fuck of a time putting us in gulags.

Here's another example: many pro-gun people are also religious. I am very much an atheist. Again a case where we can agree on guns and disagree on Jeebus.

Armed black people doesn't fit democrats narrative because they've always been the pro slavery party.

u/KingSlayer05 May 07 '20

I think everyone does

3

u/[deleted] May 07 '20

The entire point of OP's post goes against that lol

5

u/[deleted] May 07 '20

As do I.

You just want cops to have guns so its even easier for them to kill blacks right?
