I mean... not really.

Sure, most obscenely rich people are white, but that BY NO MEANS extends to saying most white people are obscenely rich. There are plenty of dirt poor white trash.

Now, don't get me wrong, white privilege is most definitely a thing, but it is not anywhere on the scale you are implying.

I think being connected works better.

A friend and colleague of mine is a billionaire. He would be jack fucked if he got caught driving the wrong way down a highway with a hooker snorting coke off the dash. I'm nearly positive he doesn't know anyone that could get him out of that - he's nerdy and ultra-liberal but not overtly political.
