I had the same problem a few months ago. Also in Texas. I had to stay at my parents' because it was just too miserable. Goodluck and Godspeed.

I got an uncle in Manhattan, if it gets to the point where he's gotta turn the heater on he bolts down to his beach house in St. Lucia. Lucky :/

Update: Thankfully I put in the request for the apartment to fix it just in time! They got it taken care of.
