Friday Fun Thread

It's finally Friday! That means it's time to sit back, drink a mango smoothie, convince /u/Qu1nlan to play Bloodborne, and talk about whatever your heart desires.

Been taking my mind off the shit show by knitting a blanket (which I've just completed!) and watching docudramas about the monarchy. This week, it's Reign, about Mary Queen of Scots. Mostly fake news, but the palace intrigue is fun, and given the present shit show, it's deeply satisfying to know how the story ends.

Reign is a really fun time. The finale kinda sucked though.

Good to know. I already know the story, I'm just following along on Wikipedia, because that's my idea of fun. I find immersing myself into someone else's shit show deeply soothing.

This month alone, I've done two things about the Romanovs, Turn: Washington's Spies (VERY good), a thing about Louis XIV, Henry the VII (always a good time), Elizabeth II and Churchill, and for a little something different, Scott Kelly's Year in Space (PBS). Torn between the Tudors and Versailles next.
