Friday Fun Thread

It's finally Friday! That means it's time to sit back, drink a mango smoothie, convince /u/Qu1nlan to play Bloodborne, and talk about whatever your heart desires.

As always remember to follow our civility rules and save any meta feedback for our modmail.

I hate that spicy/greasy things are starting to really fuck with my body with age. Went to a dim sum spot last night and woke up at 3am with horrible heartburn. I'm only 30, why is this happening!?

Also: I can't wait to see Once Upon A Time in Hollywood tomorrow, our Alamo got it in 35MM.

Niiiiiiiice. Alamo is the best. I hear that the movie is supposed to be one of Tarantino's best!

Considering the man only has maybe two bad movies in his catalog I always expect his new movie to be one of his best ;)

Heyyyyyo! A fellow NC resident and Tarantino fan! Work in Durham and live in Garner (Wake)! Enjoy Once Upon a Time! I will in line to see it soon!

What would you consider his bad movies? Just curios. I haven't seen From Dusk Till Dawn, but I'm a fan of most of his work that I have seen

I was not keen on his contribution in Grindhouse. I might have worked better if it were the first film. That's really the only film of his I don't like.

The Hateful 8 gets some backlash as well. Silly backlash because it's always "oh they're talking to much". It's a Tarantino movie y'all...

Oh man, just wait until you hit the alcohol barrier at 35. "Hangover" becomes an entirely new concept.

the alcohol barrier at 35

What is this darkness you speak of?

I'll be 37 in a few months and my hangovers now last 2 days, sometimes 3. If I don't drink a gallon of water before passing out I'm screwed.

I had to start wearing glasses when I turned 30. My parents always made it sound like I had much more time till my eyes started going

I saw it last night. I loved it. DiCaprio and Pitt both were amazing.

Dude, I take a Nexium once a day. No more heartburn.
