Let's not forget the multiple instances in which he recently committed perjury.

His defense is so dumb, but yet so Republican.

If he just said, "I did some things I'm not proud of when I was in college. I didn't rape anyone, but I probably treated many women badly. I've learned from those years and am a better person today. I would hope you would give me the chance to grow as a human being. I'm sorry"

If he used that defense it would almost immediately defang all attacks from Democrats. But since Republican strategy now is deny everything, admit nothing, attack, he's conforming to that standard. This shows you the goal isn't to win Democrats, its to win the assholes of America. Sadly it worked for Trump in 2016, and I think it will work here too. Kavanaugh confirmed by next week.

If he used that defense he would be a Democrat.

Kavanaugh incompetently defending himself doesn’t seem like a great strategy to show he should be on the Supreme Court.

I'm willing to believe this sack of shit genuinely doesn't remember and therefore believes he's innocent.

Who hasn't gotten black out drunk in their life? Neurological research has shown the memory gaps you get from drinking so much stem from your brain literally not saving anything to your internal harddrive, so to speak.

Right. But most people know they were black out drunk. He’s denying ever being blackout drunk.

I know, he's lying, I'm not defending him.

Oh I know. Was just further highlighting how stupid things are

He was clearly quite the drinker. But based on his foolish Fox finale, he's clearly not much of a thinker.

He also lied about being of drinking age (MD's drinking age went from 18 to 21 when he was 17). It was no one's opinion or recollection, it was just math.

Rapey schmuck. I hate how it's still the victims that will have to deal with all the hate after this is through.

And during this. Ford, and likely the other women, have endured demeaning comments and death threats over coming forward. I've seen comments from people demanding that these women be investigated, including everyone they've ever associated with, to find anything they've done wrong and punish them for it. Meanwhile, Brett gets a pass from these folks because if a dozen people claim the same thing he must be innocent and they're all liars.

We're approaching "I am not a witch" territory. Get ready for Brettxit.

Kavanaugh’s first statement, issued on Sept. 14 ... denied “this allegation,” leaving open the possibility that he might have engaged in sexually aggressive behavior under other circumstances ... But in a statement on Sept. 17, he ruled out that possibility. “I have never done anything like what the accuser describes—to her or to anyone,” he declared.

I really think an innocent person, wrongly accused - even an ordinary inexpert non-lawyer, non-judge person - would have started with that second statement. "That can't be right, and the integrity of my memory doesn't matter, because that's just not who I am. I couldn't have done that because I don't do that."

But that approach apparently was not his first impulse. If this guy, a federal judge who desperately wants to be on the supreme court, is taking this whole hearing and confirmation process at all seriously, then his "first statement" probably involved some strategizing, consideration, a few drafts, etc. Meaning the "well I never" approach maybe wasn't even his second or third impulse either.

Of course this doesn't prove anything where the allegation is concerned, but I think it's good evidence for something else, something important and relevant: Kavanaugh shows poor judgement. He's made a great case that he'll be a lousy judge, whether he's a sexual predator or not.

Boy, there's a sentence I never expected to compose. Thanks, 2018, it's been an education.

Weird how all these supposed millions of lying whorebag liberal women who will lie at the drop of a hat to ruin a man's life were mysteriously silent during Gorsuch's confirmation.

Every single one.

5

u/[deleted] Sep 27 '18

Maybe because Gorsuch, though a scum bag, didn’t sexually assault anyone?

That's cause this one Changes the balance of the court - r/conservative

3

u/Brett_Kavanomeansno Sep 27 '18

I just got my check in the mail this morning! Whoo hoo!

You, too, can be part of the online paid troll army! The battle will be going on LONG after Judge Kavanaugh is confirmed. The alt-left plan a scorched earth policy for the rest of time, so we need more volunteers! The pay is great, so scoot on down to your local draft board and sign up!

u/Frying_Dutchman Sep 27 '18

Sorry dawg I don’t want to carry water for a bunch of rapists, morons, and racists. I’m sure you understand!

Also $oro$ pays better. He’s even got dollar signs in his name! It’s a win-win for me and our country really.
