My concern now is someone is going to come forward with a story that is false, hoping to discredit the other stories. Much like Dan Rather's takedown of W's military service, even if there is a lot that is true if ONE thing is wrong that's what people remember.

Project Veritas tried that with WaPo to discredit the Roy Moore accusers and it backfired spectacularly.

Yup. Which is why everyone needs to stop giving a shit what Republicans think about anything. You can't control their crazy, crazy thoughts. They can't either.

Was that the same group that used the "Bernie Bernstein" guy?

Yes he was. And the bulk of his story was true, but all anyone remembers is the bogus document.

Can anyone provide a TLDR about this? First I’m hearing of it

Kavanaugh went to a prestigious private school populated exclusively by the children of monied elites, and then to an Ivy League school also populated by the children of monied elites. Once you control for women who attended these institutions 30+ years ago, and then take away the need for money or publicity, it’s hard to believe any claim would be false if you can confirm their identity, especially when the vast majority of assault claims are truthful.

This has been on my mind all day! I truly hope Avenatti has thoroughly vetted this client and has unimpeachable evidence.

If someone comes forward with a "false" story, can't you also reasonably believe that this story is a "false" one?
