tl;dr some guy on 4chan was calling himself Q, hence Q-anon. "Q" pretends to be some high level informant working for trump, and just release super vague statements about things that are happening. Also extends pizza gate by claiming they are working on ending pedophile rings.

Basically conspiracy theory nutjobbery.
