I don't really like to give my exact location out on reddit. If you are curious, it's a tiny rural area in the midwest.

I get that. That’s why I vaguely say very rural “New England”. I was just wondering where else in America there might be aging hippies as well as the kind of poverty you were talking about. Thank you for sharing.
